Hang Over Easy Enters the Fray of Torrance Gibson's Recruitment

It ain't no Waffle House, but Hang Over Easy runs numbers in its own right.

With Ohio State vaulting to the front of Torrance Gibson's recruitment, 2015's No. 1 dual-threat quarterback went out on the town last night after Friday Night Lights:

While Gibson raved about Urban Meyer in the aftermath of Ohio State's recruiting extravaganza, it appears another big gun has been added to his recruitment:

TheDream_75, more commonly known as 2015 four-star OL prospect Drew Richmond, is another subject of a recruiting battle between Ohio State and Tennessee.

What kind of omen is this for Ohio State? Well, Knoxville ain't got no Hang Over Easy, that's for sure.

I have a love/hate relationship with HOE. I love their chicken 'n waffles, but I hate it when I get all pumped up to eat them and they tell me they are out of chicken AND waffles. How is that even possible???

I haven't eaten there in years, though I do usually stop there for a shot as I make my way to the stadium on game day.

Now let's switch gears from our regularly scheduled program for some breaking news...take it away, Torrance

Hope this means something good, and he keeps his nose clean.

And then I told her...i'm no weatherman, but tonight's forecast is calling for several inches!

Campus has some great greasy spoons. Love me some HOE. Blueberry and banana pancakes go great with almost anything. I love that an order of ham is massive.

However, my favorite campus breakfast joint is:

I've never had a doughnut at Buckeye Donut. Always had the gyro.

I live in Columbus but it's been some time since I last drove by the place... when did Buckeye Donut get renovated?

Haha upvotes for both of you. I stand corrected.
Buckeye Donuts is one of the most egalitarian establishments I've ever been to. You'll see office workers picking up a couple dozen for the big morning meeting, college kids, lawyers reading the morning paper, and even the homeless. They are generous with the homeless in the area. I tried to buy a guy a sandwich once and they refused to take my money ("oh, for ***** no worries, we take care of *****" the cashier said). There are regulars that come in, leave exact change on the table, and go behind the counter and pour their own coffee.
Are the owners ever in a bad mood? Seriously, always smiling.

Haha! Eating a maple one from there right now as I type. Had to stop there with my son  before we hit the highway back to "this state"

my son loved his campus visit. Saw Dixon walkin around campus in the AM, Chris Carter in the Union and a guy who confusingly looked a lot like a Tracey Sprinkle playing ball in that big ole rec center.

The maple cream sticks are my favorite too. Lived in Miami for ten years. There aren't many maple flavor things down there. I didn't realize how much I'd miss maple.

Hang Over Easy takes me back—corned beef hash, dark beer, and a cup of coffee laced with bourbon...

I MUST GET ON CAMPUS IMMEDIATELY.

Ok...so I've posted on a few other threads that our visit went INCREDIBLY WELL! He's definitely leaning Buckeye. Few more campus visits left but the Honors and Scholars program was more than he expected. And sitting in the Shoe under the lights was an added bonus.

Now he and my wife are interested in trying to go back for the Tech game.

Question for the 11W fam, what's the best way to secure tickets without taking out a 2nd mortgage? Stub Hub?
