Eleven Warriors is now running on version 1.3 of Tatum, which contains the following fixes, enhancements and other tweaks:

  • The Jail module was improved to now include a reason for jail sentences. Now, whenever a member is tossed in jail, they'll receive constructive feedback when they next attempt to login.
  • Adding images to comments has been simplified. You now have one field to fill out – the image URL.
  • Added a check to prevent images > 2MB from being added to comments. That will satisfy every regular image you can think of, while still keeping GIF sizes reasonable.
  • Comments beyond a certain level are automatically collapsed. You can expand them by clicking on the triangle near the comment author's name and you can expand all of the comments on a page by clicking the link near the top of the comments. You can thank the thread-jackers for this one.
  • Now, when you try to embed a tweet with emjoi, it will no longer break the site. That doesn't mean emoji are a part of the site, just that they're stripped out before saving articles, comments, etc.
  • We ditched the spritesheet – all of our site icons are now served from a custom font.
  • The mysterious "1" from the top of forum comments has been killed. RIP, 1.
  • The Contributor role works like a staff member role now. Sorry, you will no longer be able to upvote Aloiya.
  • Tables in articles now support header rows and columns without overdosing everyone with scarlet. The header row is still scarlet while header columns are dark gray.
  • Instagram icon in da house – added to sidebar and footer so you can follow us on Instagram.
  • Speaking of social things, G+ is gone from our article social bar, replaced by the Reddit alien.
  • The front page now refreshes every 15 minutes when there is no activity. Leave 11W up, walk away for a while, come back to fresh news!
  • Local links no longer pop new windows when clicked in some cases.
  • Various style tweaks.
  • All of that, plus one very, very big surprise to be announced soon.

Thanks for your continued support of this fine indie web site!
