If you're a Browns fan like myself I'm sure you're getting excited for tomorrow.  Since we consistently seem to have an early pick every year, the draft is our "Super Bowl".   Tomorrow I'm having a few guys over for some bacon hamburgers on the grill and some cold beer.

I hope management has learn from our past mistakes.  It would be nice if we were able to land someone worth buying their jersey and not thinking 3 years later "what a waste".  Hopefully tomorrow I'm not scratching my head and thinking wtf......

To my fellow Cleveland Fans. Go Browns!

PS Please don't draft a QB tomorrow....

Go Browns!  Here's to being hopeful for a good draft.

It's a deep draft.  They almost can't go wrong.

Almost.

When you're holding a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

It is the browns.  If there is a slight chance they will find a way to go wrong.

They will likely wait on QB and then devote themselves to a mediocre QB for a few years like they have with McCoy, Weeden, Quinn, Anderson, etc.

Better than devoting themselves to a mediocre QB at #4 just because the media orgasms every time they say the guys name...

Any takers on when Haslem's indictment comes down?

The postgame show is brought to you by... Christ, I can't find it. The hell with it...

Doesn't matter... he's going to skate by any significant charges.

I heard an NFL guy talking on the radio couple of days ago and he said that there is little concern that it will be serious, if anything.  There was a date recently that if they hadn't heard yet, it is assumed that nothing would be affected with respect to the Browns.

I believe I heard Peter King on The Really Big Show say the same thing.

I like them minus Teddy. I think the top 6 QB's are equal. Let's get one in the later rounds. I do really want Robinson.

I believe the SEC players put their pants on one leg at a time like we do.

What he said ^^^

Go Bucks!

You have my favorite mock draft so far! Plug-in Robinson and Mewhort at RT/RG and the OL will go from a piece of Swiss cheese to a brick wall. Hyde would be an excellent compliment to Ben Tate (and Dion Lewis). I'm not crazy about Bridgewater but I won't complain if we take him at 26.

As much as I like the Robinson pick, me thinks he's gone at 2

1 - Watkins

1 - Bridgewater

2 turns into another 1 - Su'a Filo

3 - Jean-Baptist

3 - Bishop Sankey

4 - Christian Jones

I'll charge the Browns my retainer fee later...

Danify's picture

My dream draft for the Browns would be...

1 - Sammy Watkins - WR

1 - Teddy Bridgewater - QB

2 - Keith McGill - CB

3 - Jack Mewhort - OL

3 - Bishop Sankey - RB

4 - Shayne Skov - ILB

4 -  C.J. Fiedorowicz - TE (Depth)

5 -  Anthony Steen - G (Depth)

6 - Kenny Ladler - S (Depth)

7 - Keith Wenning - QB (Depth)

Honorable Mention: Trey Burton - TE

I'm calling it now. Watkins will be taken by Jacksonville. With Mack available the Browns will ship the pick to Atlanta and draft Mike Evans @ #6. At #26, I hope the Browns will stay away from an QB and if Kyle Fuller is available you draft him there. Use the pick you got from Atlanta along with #35 pick and draft into the first round for Hyde or a quarterback (Bridgewater, Carr, McCarron, Garoppolo), if needed as a few of those guys would be there at #35.

If you call all of that 11W should give u 100 HS.

I'm not big on Evans.

We're gonna take Kenny G in the 7th as our only QB.

And he becomes the Browns version of Brady... I can only dream.

I really like Aaron Murray as a steal of a QB in later rounds

Been saying this the whole time. If he didnt tear his ACL late in the season, hes in the conversation as a top pick. Hopefully they've done their homework and kick the tired on the idea of grooming him for the future.

I live down in Atlanta- I asked people at work if they were ready for the Super Bowl tomorrow.  They just don't understand.

Lol. It's a Cleveland thing.

Haha, not like the Falcons are exactly a traditional powerhouse themselves...

I think McCarron is the steal of the draft. I'd like to see the Browns take him in the 3rd or 4th round. I really hope Kenny G gets drafted, I just don't think the Browns are a good fit for him.

Kenny is going to get paid for years to a reliable backup.

Danify's picture

You think the Browns have been drafting terrible in the majority of these years... I just saw an ESPN - Raiders' what players they have taken and who was drafted next is downright sickening if I'm an Raiders fan.
