After the game ended, when it became apparent we might back into the playoffs through no reward for our skill but rather the sheer ineptitude of the sport this year, I was honestly a bit horrified.  Imagine this team playing Georgia or the Skunks again right?  

But someone planted the seed and the more I've sat with it, I like the idea of us sneaking into the playoffs.  For one very specific reason - it forces the issue of what we do with Ryan Day.  

Think about it - we sneak in and Day manages to pull the rabbit out of the hat, we win a title over Georgia and PROBABLY a rematch with TTUN.  OR, more likely, Georgia rocks our world in the first round, and the futility of our current staff is exposed, potentially getting Day out without wasting the next year.
