Thursday Sept 1-
Indiana @ Florida International- Hoosiers win, but who knows when your program's expectations are so low you schedule a home/home with Florida International
Oregon State @ Minnesota- neither of these teams usually impress me early in the season, Minnesota has ugly uniforms, Oregon State wins.
Friday Sept 2-
Furman @ Michigan State- Sparty gets better looks in practice, hopefully nobody's ticket costs over $25 for this snoozer. Sparty can lay an early season egg from time to time, this one ends 35-10.
Saturday Sept 3-
Bowling Green @ Ohio State- 9 days away. Bowling Green has more Ohio State fans on their Campus than they do Falcon fans, and they won't be disappointed
Western Michigan @ Northwestern- Fitz will have them ready. Northwestern is solid under Fitz, every year, until a season's worth of injuries takes it's toll on the thin roster.
Hawaii @ Michigan- Hawaii gets the benefit of playing it's second game, Michigan breaks in a new QB. Game will be within a 14 points at halftime, Michigan pulls away late.
Howard @ Maryland- Terps win, and nobody cares
Eastern Kentucky @ Purdue- Purdue should/might win, there may be only 400 people in the country that want to watch this game.
Rutgers @ Washington- first thought Washington is overrated, but Chris Peterson is a fine coach. Rutgers loses bad.
LSU vs Wisconsin- as was the cas last year, Wisconsin just doesn't have the athletic depth to go 4 quarters with a team like LSU. Hope Wisconsin is able to keep Fournette under 150, or ESPN will give the Heisman to him after one game.
Kent State @ Penn State- Penn State wins, but nobody cares
Miami Ohio @ Iowa- Iowa wins, is there anybody that really wants to watch this?
Murry State @ Illinois- good grief, who cares? Illinois wins. I do hope Lovie Smith is able to build a solid program there
Fresno State @ Nebraska- for some reason, I've never liked Fresno State. Nebraska wins a close one.
other Top Matchups
Oklahoma vs Houston- Oklahoma wins, we will see the reason Oklahoma is rated top 5 preseason.
UCLA @ Texas AtM- Aggies
Georgia vs North Carolina- Noth Carolina
Southern Cal vs Alabama- Tide
Clemson @ Auburn- Clemson
Notre Dame @ Texas- Longhorns
Ole Miss vs Florida State- Seminoles
What say you?
