Michigan Turns to Canada to Fill the Big House

When we last checked in with Michigan, they were in a bit of a PR mess regarding a concussed athlete. In the midst of all that, we forgot all about their home attendance problems. Now it appears the UM athletic department has sunk to a new low: selling discounted tickets in Canada.

Michigan has used Groupon equivalents before to paper over their attendance problems, but they had stuck to the US market. With malaise overtaking the program, it appears they are targeting Toronto.

If Canadian football fans have any sense, they'll wait for a two-for-one Coke product offer before responding.
