Frank Clark on Sophomore Trip to South Bend: 'I've Never Seen So Many Middle Fingers'

Renowned ethicist and Michigan defensive lineman Frank Clark is apart of Michigan's student-athlete contingent at Big Ten media days.

The Notre Dame-Michigan rivalry will be going on an indefinite hiatus after this year, and so naturally it's a point of interest among reporters.

The former Cleveland Glenville standout offered his thoughts on his first trip to Notre Dame:

You may ask "WWJD?" And it's been awhile since I've read the good book, but I'm pretty sure even the Lamb of God detested Michigan.

He should wear a Ohio State sweatshirt in Ann Arbor on the Saturday after Thanksgiving on odd numbered years... probably more people than in South Bend that will give you the finger and pretend their fan base is better than yours.

DJ, I have two graduate degrees in theology - I can't find Him speaking well of *ichigan anywhere in the Good Book!

And since there is the Law of First Mention in the Bible, that not being mentioned is also a law unto itself?  What could you call such a law?

An early thank you to Frank Clark for giving Buckeye nation a quote to use for the rest of forever....

But the Titanic was indestructible, right?

CCatanzaro's picture

Sure, and it's still in tact.  It still exists as a rusting, barnacle covered reminder of irrelevant glory from the past.  It's present situation is reflective of what occurs when arrogance supersedes reality.

Dairy-fed intellect and pure, unhinged sass.

This is even better than Kevin Gardner's quote last year of "We're a championship caliber team"

I wonder how many of the alleged bird flippers are criminals like good ole "Felony" Frank?

But this whole life I have lived I thought Notre Dame was a Catholic school. Is Frank Clark telling me Christians and Catholics are one in the same?

Mark my words..I don't need acceptance. I'm catching interceptions on you innocent pedestrians.

Meh, I've seen OSU fans throw the bird around pretty healthily (Miami FL game specifically.)

Nothing like dancing on the field in 02...
