RichRod Earns a Contract Extention
In his first year at Arizona, Rodriguez racked up an 8-5 record and a win over Nevada in the prestigious New Mexico Bowl, which was somehow good enough for a one-year contract extension and a $225k annual bump in pay.
Rodriguez did do a nice job in Tucson but man does that speak to the expectations at Arizona.
AD Greg Byrne on RichRod's efforts:
The job that he and his staff has done has been outstanding: coming in and making a tremendous impact on Arizona football, our athletic department and our university," athletic director Greg Byrne said, according to the Arizona Daily Star.

Nope, I want him to succeed there as well. Just think of how much salt that'll be in the wounds of UM psyche.
I really enjoyed his tenure and watching the Wolverines lose constantly. But I honestly have nothing against RichRod. I really think he was setup to fail as the HC at UM with the lack of alumni support. Granted he didn't really help himself out with a good DC.
There are a considerable number Michigan alums (count me very firmly among them) who want to see Coach Rodriguez win the Pac12. My psyche gets nothing but satisfaction if Rodriguez finds great success in Arizona.
well I kind of do also. I feel like he was never accepted or wanted as the M coach and M shit the bed after Les said no to them. I do thank him for his service as Ohio State's doormat though and i wish him the best of luck in zona hopefully he knocks off USC all the time

RichRod is really innovative with the spread offense. Some smug upper class scUM supporters looked down upon him. RR was not a true MMan in their opinions. When someone is done dirty whether it be a coach or player, I want them to be able to get payback at some time. When RR gets the chance to play TTUN, I want RR to lay it to them.
You make a good point. I enjoy watching anyone beat TTUN, but to see RichRod beat them....it would bring me great pleasure.
