In his first year at Arizona, Rodriguez racked up an 8-5 record and a win over Nevada in the prestigious New Mexico Bowl, which was somehow good enough for a one-year contract extension and a $225k annual bump in pay.
Rodriguez did do a nice job in Tucson but man does that speak to the expectations at Arizona.
