OSU Adds Preferred Walk-On Long Snapper

OSU will take LS Nick Sharick, formerly of Thomas Worthington and Tennessee, as a preferred walk-on in the recruiting class of 2013. (twitter.com)

Don't we already have haynes on scholarship at the same age?

Bryce Haynes is a redshirt frosh and will be a redshirt soph next year....Sharick I believe took a grayshirt this year, so when he enrolls in January it would be as a member of the 2013 class, meaning he'd be a true frosh...if he then redshirts next fall, he'd have four years left and would be a redshirt frosh in fall of 2014 when Haynes is a redshirt junior, leaving 2 years of separation so that he could start for 2 years when Haynes departs....follow? haha

Haynes will be a Sophomore and Makridis will be a Senior.

correct...and Sharick will be a frosh, but my guess is redshirt
