I wouldn't exactly agree. I see the concern though. Johnny Football I believe is a btter passer than Brax and he is slippery and was able to get away from Bama defenders. That's how they struggled on D tonight. Brax running is Johnny Football on steroids. Bama struggles with guys like that. Their acceleration and quick bursts does serious damage against bamas strength. I would be concerned about our defense but i believe they do better against pro style offenses.
I was thinking the same thing, lol. I know A&M is now technically an SEC team, but I'd like to see this point get more attention in the sports media. Of course, it won't.
Lundquist and Danielson are absurd... First they talk about how great 'bama is, then after A&M beats them, they're like 'I'm guessing this makes Manziel a Heisman candidate'... give me a break!
I'm pretty indifferent to booth personalities normally, but Verne and Gary were ridiculous. From the ho-hum nature with which they called the first quarter where 'Bama just got flat-out dominated to the whole second half when they were preparing for their "Boy, that was a close one!" Bama recap, they sounded like a Tuscaloosa local college station. I'll be interested to see if this gets attention in mainstream press. It was just that bad.
Manziel may very well be a Heisman candidate now, as people were pretty high on this guy even before tonight, but point taken. I'm sure A&M is amazing and we'll forget all about how they lost to Florida and LSU.
We need KState to remain unbeaten so that "Johnny Football" doesn't get the Heisman. He's the Tim Tebow of this era. Everyone at SportsCenter "daydreams" about him all day long... No one will give Brax a chance with "Johnny Football" in the mix.

Haha, you just got an up vote- not for the comment but because I just read your quote at the bottom and have seen the down vote magnet you've unfairly become. Well played.
I think everyone in the world will sleep that much better tonight, let it soak in when sunday football comes around and then bask in the glory of Nick Saban crying. I'm enjoying every second of this
I am confident that OSU can beat any of the teams ranked ahead of them.. The one I would fear the most is Oregon. Alabama was exposed by an elusive qb... Braxton would give them fits. The Ohio State d is showing great improvement. Also, give Urban a month to prepare... Well unfortunately we know how that works.

They would smoke Notre Lame. K. St. likely beats Bucks in a tight one. Not a good year to play Oregon at all. We'd score a lot but they would probably score more.

Woohoo!
And yet, they'll still be ranked ahead of us...

thats probably fair. I don't think I'd want any part of bama in a bowl game if OSU was eligible

Can't describe how happy this makes me
I'm cheering for everyone else to remain unbeaten so they don't even get a chance of sneaking back in to the title picture
This would've never happened if A&M had stayed in the big 12. No way a big 12 team could beat bama....hahaha
+1000000000000000

They do have SEC speeeeeeeeeeeeed!

Did the A&M fans chant S-E-C? Because they should have.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
and the best is it was done by a team that was middle of the pack in the Big Twelve.
everyone still sure Alabama deserved that rematch last year over the Big Twelve champ because "the SEC is so hard"?
I Love this because it makes tsun look bad.
Which is wonderful, except this meand ND's chances of making the championship game are MUCH, MUCH greater.
That would be insufferable.
Not if they get blown out by Oregon. I would cry tears of joy.

True, although I'd still have to push the fast forward button on December, because I've already had my fill of Irish fan gloating this season.
I thought Verne Lundquist was going to cry. There was disbelief in the booth when it all ended.
I think Danielson was crying in the booth. Fun game to watch, but oh so miserable to listen to.
Blow Tide!

Class of 2010.
Now we need K State to lose to Texas to help Brax get the Heisman

The final 3 will be Klein, Johnny, and Barner.

Braxton isn't winning the Heisman no matter what happens.
Not this year. Next year is another question though. What year is Johnny?

Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
Watch E!SPiN make a hard push for Bama.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
Cannot wait to listen to Finebaum on Monday.
First time I've ever said that.
I typical switch to SVP when finebaum comes on surius, but the meltdown will be great.
The $100 handshakes will be reduced to $20 this week in Tuscaloosa.
Damn, I was enjoying their dominance in college football.

Alabama was exposed by an elusive QB, sure. But Manziel is a much better passer than Braxton is at this point.
Sure they COULD..but they probably wouldn't.

Dunno about that. We have a stronger defensive front 7, and we play more power football. I think we would match up well against Oregon.

Oregon would be the WORST matchup possible for the Buckeyes.

I don't know about "smoke"..it's pretty tough to score alot on ND..would be a close game I think.

As much as I will enjoy seeing a title game without SEC speed, I really don't want to see the irish there either.
