I remember people laughing at the lame Big 10 network duo calling the game for already calling it the catch of the year but I think many of us felt it would stand as it's been years since there's been a better catch in college football.

I'm kind of surprised at this. Especially since it occured so early in the season. Glad he got it though. I think the OSU players have been blackballed this season.

That catch yesterday by the LSU receiver might actually rival this one. Glad to see Devin get some recognition for this. Hopefully he uses this for a platform to continue to improve!
By the way, my hate for the SEC is equally as strong as my hate for that vermin up north.
I watched that game. Even the SEC commentators mentioned the Devin Smith catch. Tie at best, CANNOT BEST SMITH!!!!

Congrats Devin! I believe that is the best play I've seen in a few years in college football. Now, work on catching the easy ones on a regular basis and you'll become an even bigger threat.
