Everyone says that about him being a good recruiter, but the talent level of the Gophers by the time he left was mid to lower tier MAC worthy. I think he used to be a good recruiter. Maybe he could be situationally again, like for a position, but his teams at UM were talentless and directionless. Tough combo.
When told OSU set school record for 50+ games this year, UFM said "That's good. We're gonna break that next year."

Good pickup for them, Brewster never meant to be a head ball coach, but he can recruit pretty darn well.
