If this game was week 2 or 3 I think he'd be right, but Saban has had all off season to prepare for this game versus one week. I still think it will be closer than what the score shows, unfortunately both teams can't lose....

I'd feel better with 14.5 points, but it's not a bad bet. Bama scores at will, but Michigan's offense does more damage than many people expect. I'm guessing Bama 34, Michigan 24.

Alabama hasn't given up 24 points or more since Nov 26, 2010 to Cam Newton and the Auburn Tigers.  They've given up 24 points or more only 3 times in the past 3 seasons.

I know none of this has to do with the Tide's defense in 2012, but...

If he loses, it's great, because not only does that mean Michigan loses, but he might be more inclined to fight Pacquaio to recoup his losses.

I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.

Hope Sabam shows this to his team. I think people are underestimating how much Saban will keep his foot on the pedal. He has a losing record against them from his time at MSU. Also, this is not like it was against Penn State when he didn't run it up more because of respect for Paterno. He also is competing against Michigan for some recruits.

Michigan should beat the spread and I would feel fairly confident with that bet.  I am in noway picking us to win the game, but it should be interesting.  27-21 Bama, but I would not be surprised by an upset, just not expecting it.
