OSU-Wisky is fast becoming the best rivalry in the B1G. We'll see if Hoke can do anything about that, but for now, in football and basketball, it's got to be the most intense.

I think if Urban knows any subject matter area absolutely cold, it's recruiting and associated regulations. Kiffin tried to pull this shit with him and he got smacked down.

Sounds like sour grapes. He has a tuff job ahead , who really wants to play up there. He needs to realize that 3* players are what he mostly gets.

Ironically, from the article:

Bielema went off on a tangent about a job offer he received in a different conference when he was an assistant at Wisconsin under Barry Alvarez. He didn’t name the school or the head coach that was trying to hire him, but he said while that coach was trying to recruit him, he told Bielema: “You know what the difference between the Big Ten and this conference is? In the Big Ten everybody tells on everybody, in our conference nobody tells on anybody.”

Yet gutless Bielema doesn't really "tell on" anyone. He tosses out vague innuendos that are designed to smear his rivals (UFM) without Bielema having to take responsibility and go on the record with a specific complaint. A legit whistle-blower would go straight to the BT office. Bielema is just f.o.s.

It's tough to say Bielma is totally wrong about Meyer bringing SEC recruiting to the Big Ten. Meyer's recruiting dominance in just a little over a month makes it kind of self evident. I doubt it was Auburn-style SEC recruiting, but still... he could clearly play the "game" better than Big Ten coaches. Not sure if that's good or bad for the league... only time will tell!

Do you think Bielama is referring to Meyer's breach of the supposed 'gentlemen's agreement' with not going after another Big Ten team's verbally committed recruits? What else could he be referring to?
