11W's Ross Fulton Breaks Down Ohio State for MGoBlog

By Anonymous (not verified) on November 27, 2013 at 5:13p

The excellent MGoBlog invited Eleven Warriors' Ross Fulton to provide some answers regarding the schematic and personnel match-ups between Ohio State and Michigan, as well as his analysis of what is wrong with the Wolverines' offense. MGoBlog's Ace Anbender returned the favor, and we will soon feature his answers as we prepare for the Game.

What will the scoreboard look like this year??

How many batteries does it take to beat Michigan football?   1AA
Want to beat Michigan? There's an App for that.

Need more points for OSU. MORE POINTS URBZ.

Look closely, because the closer you think you are, the less you will actually see.

I'd be perfectly content if the scoreboard looked that way at the end.  However, if it does, it will create a shit storm around here about how that's not good enough. Just win.  Could not care less how or by how much.

Buckeyevstheworld's picture

As long as Ohio State wins, I don't care what the score is.

"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.

This is all I hope for:
Ross: You guys are really, really shitty. We're not really, really shitty.

That picture is golden.

Agreed.  Can't believe I've never seen it before.

I never saw a football player make a tackle with a smile on his face

Ross, you really did an impressive write up there.  I was actually impressed by the reviews from the -ichigan fans on that site.  Look forward to Ace's interview tomorrow. Thank you for your high quality work.

Agree. Ross is damn good.  You could tell the MGoBlue posters were impressed.  They mostly drooled compliments on the keyboard in response.

MGoBlog user in response to Ross's article:

Hoke has a milkshake.
Urban has a straw that reaches allllllllll the way across the field.
Urban drinks Hoke's milkshake.

and that is absolutely perfect.

It's only perfect if someone remembers to bring a bowling pin.

Ha, yes...I chuckled when I saw that. The comments on that thread are pretty good overall. Humor.

This is the one that almost made me spit Frostie everywhere:

He lost all credibility with me when he predicted Michigan would manage 13 points.  Has he seen us on offense lately?
Seriously, though, great insight.  Kudos to Fulton for not (rightuly) replying with 'HALOL UR GONNA GET JAILSEXED' since I probably would've given the opporunity

ESPN starting the SEC channel to concentrate on the SEC is like Baskin-Robbins starting a new store to concentrate on selling ice cream.

Good work Ross and Ace.  I gotta say, as much as i despise that school, the weekly sessions with Johnny and now this post with Ross are pretty cool. Probably because I'm on the good and wholesome side of the fence!

Ugh, if I have to go to that site I will... but ONLY FOR A ROSS FULTON BREAKDOWN!!!
J/K, what can I say? I can't help but soak up some Wolverine Tears every now and then.

Football is complicated...

Hope Ross wiped his feet.....better yet, put on hip waders before stepping in that.

The co__ents on _goblog are pretty good. _ost recognize the good analysis by Ross... It _akes _e nervous that both sides expect a blowout. Go buckeyes!

Definitely a good read, I appreciate it staff and Ross. It seemed like the majority of the posters were grateful for his insight and surprisingly Ross seemed more optimistic for _ichigan than their fans. Here's to hoping Urban goes for 2 when we have the game in hand

Hey Ross, always enjoy your stuff. Wherever it appears.

Good read Ross, you represent our fan base well and certainly demonstrate considerable analytical prowess.  Ace as always is a good sport, and most of the goblue fans were pretty decent and realistic.  Moving beyond this Kumbayah moment ... hope the bucks crush TTUN with one of the most convincing wins in the long, storied history of The Game.

Kudos to both Ross and Ace for their participation in opponent's blogs. I have enjoyed reading Ace's comments every week in the Tuesday breakdown with Johnny, and it is cool the the 11W staff reciprocate. Well done, guys!

Ross is awesome ... with one exception: he did graduate from TSUN.
I'm still very glad he's here with us on 11W though.

I wish you had kept that little piece of trivia to yourself... Ross, say it ain't so!

Better critical thinking with age & experience has brought Ross into the light!! And we are better for it!

General Studies?!?
Was he on the football team?
*I kid, of course.  Aside from the scholarship evident in his writings (and in the fact that he works for a well-known firm), getting into/getting a JD from U Chicago is no small task.

A man got to have a code...

I lol'd pretty hard at some of the comments. Also, Ross found the most gracious ways of saying that TTUN sucks especially bad this year, which I found much more amusing than just being a jerk.

...and Michigan still sucks.
