We Have An Upset!

Eastern Washington used to be known as the team with the red field that was used to blind their opponents with sheer opulence. Now, they'll still be known as that, but in addition they'll also be the FCS team that knocked off Oregon State on the road.

The game was a barn burner, with EWU accounting for 625 yards of total offense, and both teams combining for 61 total first downs. After the Kansas State upset at the hands of North Dakota State, it's becoming increasingly hard to deny the kind of parity that's being developed at all levels of college football. Maybe Michigan really was in the vanguard this time.

Knarcisi, I hope you're not serious about Oregon's field.  After basketball season and TTUN's bright yellow shit...yeah...lol...don't think I can take more of it.

Class of 2010.

Eastern Washington is a very good team and had I bet on it I would have taken them for the upset.  I went to their playoff game last year, they lost in the semifinals of the FCS championship.  The won the FCS a couple years back.
I got to tell you, that red field is actually beautiful.  Not that I want to go back to artificial turf at the shoe, but the red really looks great.
There are 6 former Eagles currently in the NFL.   BTW, Colin Cowherd is an alum and donated their new scoreboard which is very nice for a school their size.

It's artificial?  Last time I was there it was grass.   If so, I didn't know that.
