Eastern Washington used to be known as the team with the red field that was used to blind their opponents with sheer opulence. Now, they'll still be known as that, but in addition they'll also be the FCS team that knocked off Oregon State on the road.

The game was a barn burner, with EWU accounting for 625 yards of total offense, and both teams combining for 61 total first downs. After the Kansas State upset at the hands of North Dakota State, it's becoming increasingly hard to deny the kind of parity that's being developed at all levels of college football. Maybe Michigan really was in the vanguard this time.
