Taylor Decker Shows Off His 12-0 Ring

Taylor Decker's ring from Ohio State's 12-0 season

Images of the top of Ohio State's 12-0 rings surfaced on Twitter last week – even a rare photo of the mythical 1996 Pitt game ring – but now we have a good look at the sides of the ring, courtesy of Ohio State offensive tackle Taylor Decker.

One side features the player's last name, a green buckeye leaf and the player's jersey number. The other side features Ohio Stadium and the score of the final game of the 2012 season:

OSU 26
TUN 21

Worth noting: Players also received a watch.

Mark May hates all of this, of course.

Mark May hates all of this, of course.

But Mark May does not hate women's underwear...

Through my searches on the Internet I have come to find that MARK MAY WEARS WOMEN'S UNDERWEAR. So you're correct in your assessment.

Awesomeness of the 12-0 season aside, that is one good looking ring.

Very cool. Setting a high bar for championship jewelry...

I want to see Frank Epitropoulos' ring.  Just to see how small of a font they had to use

I never saw a football player make a tackle with a smile on his face

Nice watch too!

I would buy one of those watches in a second.....but not from a player, obviously. Are they selling them anywhere?

Weren't all of these awards supposed to be held and given to the players after their eligibility runs out?  I thought this was one of the "fixes" that was put into place by the compliance office after "Tatgate".

Gold pants club  decided to do that

Perhaps, but you still have to let the players see it, at least, right?

Nice ring, and well deserved, but let's hope we never see another "Leaders Champions" ring (or whatever they end up calling the division).  The 2012 Buckeyes won everything they were permitted to play for, so they deserve some tokens of their accomplishments.  But from now on, only B1G Championships and National Titles will be deserving of rings.

Snarkies gonna snark.

Very very cool... I want one.

And when we win the game, we'll buy a keg of boooooooooze!! And we'll drink to old Ohio 'till we wobble in our shoes.

I love the OSU 26-TUN 21.  I'm not normally a fan of celebrating a single game score, but in this case I approve.

I would never buy another watch.

I bet Kyle Kalis  wish he'd these.

They'd be covered in so much blood though....and not his own.

Kyle didn't know date for the game. He and Ohio traders can go with Hoke and shut down Golden Coral. In  Hoke younger days at Fairmont East he always shut down Duffs smorgasbord.
