Speaking of books. I was thinking there is a major (two volumes maybe?) book that could be written on the Penn State scandal right now... for the enterprising author who could write about it objectively. Sorry, not you Joe Posnanski.
Think about the entire timeline. Sandusky, Grand Jury, indictments & subsequent Paterno/Spanier firings, BoT maneuverings, Freeh investigation and report, NCAA sanctions, Curley & Schultz (& Spanier?) trials, civil litigations. It might be a decade before it gets published. But if done thoroughly and objectively, it could be a best-seller and pultizer-worthy. (Think movie rights.)
With all the intrigue and players involved plus the level of interest -- this book could be the All the President's Men of our generation. The downside is that you more than likely would have to spend a lot of time in State College doing research.

If you follow her on twitter, you know she talks about being forever single. I'm sure none of us get it. She's smart, funny, and eats like a caveman. She's a catch just on that criteria alone. Being attractive is just the bacon on top. My working hypothesis was that she must have a voice like a screeching pterodactyl. I caught the Rome segment, so I can safely say that theory goes into the trash pile now...
At any rate, congrats on the appearance! I hope you continue to progress in your career. I'm sure we'll be seeing you on College Gameday or the Big Ten Network in the near future.
I see why you guys at 11W sent Elika instead of the guys;-) I thought she looked cute in her picture for 11W (no offense to anyone else, girl or guy btw...I'm just kidding). Anyhow...I thought she was very professional and did a really good job on TV(I know I probably wouldn't have been able to articulate a sentence due to nerves). However, that Anderson guy seemed like a douche...not sure how anyone else felt about him but that was my perception. Of course Rome is Rome...and I'll always remember him for this below...watch and enjoy;-)

I knew this would come up... because I was told, repeatedly, by people in the industry that type of blue is one of the most flattering on camera. This, among a bunch of "don't" recommendations that made it nearly impossible to decide what to wear. Don't wear white. Don't wear yellow. Don't wear a crazy print. Don't wear black. Don't wear a fabric with a weird texture. As someone with zero on-camera experience, I chose the safe bet... and figured it wasn't exactly Fichigan blue.
