A big recruiting weekend finally yielded some big results, as St. Louis (Mo) John Burroughs RB Ezekiel Elliott committed to Urban Meyer and Ohio State following his visit to Columbus, confirming the news to me via text message.

The 6-0/195 Elliott made the trip up to campus with his mother, his second visit in the last few months. While home state Missouri and Notre Dame were thought to be big players, Eliott chose to end things and pick the Buckeyes today, after he got a more in-depth look at the university and his family could see everything he loved about the Buckeyes during his first trip.

We will catch up with Ezekiel later tonight to get the scoop on OSU's sixth verbal pledge for the class of 2013, but for now we enjoy some good news courtesy of Urban Meyer as we get through the hangover of last night's Final Four loss.
