from what i here that is hour 82 of their practice... practice... they r doing alot of overtime with practice... atleast they dont have any sort of classes being at that juco...
anybody hear this business about the Rose Bowl committee going against the traditional PAC-10 champion and pulling in a team like TCU/Cincy/etc...any literature?
Only way that happens is by a new rule, whereby if the Pac 10 or Big 10 champ gets pulled into the national title game, the Rose Bowl MUST pick a non-BCS team, if they are eligible to be picked. It was a new rule, made against Rose Bowl's wishes, in order to give non-BCS teams a shot at the granddaddy of them all. No way on earth does the Rose Bowl affirmatively disrespect the Pac 10 or Big 10 by doing so in a year when both conference champs won't be in the title game.
bar talk watching the browns game last night...wondering if there was any truth...i would absolutely love to see something like that though...the talk was something along the lines of ohio state getting more tickets also if it was other than a pac-10 team..just wonderin
yeah..i figured..i live in northern VA and just ran into 2 dudes that had just got into town from Canton...said they were talking on the radio or something like that..just figured i'd feel it out
Brandon Graham is legit, he will start in the NFL, but I don't see the value in calling out Boren like that. It wasn't a leadership move, and he's the only thing approaching a leader on the UM defense. The last thing OSU needs is extra motivation, and the offense is going to rally around the Boren brothers and play their asses off for them.
I don't care how foolish it would be, I would love to Play UC or TCU over Oregon. Let people who say the little guy deserves a chance get their hopes dashed.
TCU and/or Cincy will play in something like the sugar or the orange bowl or fiesta bowl, not the rose.
Cincy is the only team that is guaranteed a BCS slot since they would be champs of the big east, which is a BCS conference(somehow with 8 teams...) TCU and Boise State are fighting for a potential Orange or Fiesta Bowl appearance most likely.
I don't care who the Bucks play, just glad we got to the Rose Bowl, but any of the Pac 10 teams that we would potentially face would be tough.(Stanford or Oregon most likely, if both teams can avert disaster).
pac ten big ten tie in with bcs and rose bowl up in 2011 so they wont have to pick a pac ten big ten team but they still would exapmle say tOSU goes to nation championship rose bowl cowould be stuck with whatever pick was left for that year kinda how texas got there a couple years ago
Is Graham really calling out Boren? Boren callled out everyone involved in the UM football program, then transferred to the rival and then dressed as the coach for halloween.
I LOVE that..... my kids learned very early what song was for the Good guys and What song was for the bad guys.... one year my wife dressed my son (he was about 5) in Yellow and Blue the week of the Michigan game... he told my wife (on his own) "DADDY IS GOING TO BE MAD AT ME".... he promptly changed his shirt!! Good Boy!
The only two Pac 10 teams controlling their destiny are Oregon and Arizona, but Zona must still play Oregon and USC, so they are not likely to make it out of the Pac10 alive.
Oregon state actually has a very good shot at making it out of the Pac 10, should it beat Oregon in the Civil War, with a Zona loss against Oregon or USC.
Despite it's beatdowns against USC and Oregon, Stanford is not likely to make the Rosebowl, due to earlier losses.
i wonder if he will given Boren word of incouragement and Boren goes into full beast mode and makes scum coeds cry again.... not crying that their team lost AGAIN X6 just that they are scum coeds and their only future is 60 additional lbs and in being a replacement for ugly fat (big boned) like 1st basewoman on the softball team big dana jocobson (she is absolutaly horrible, great tv com classes at that juco) of espn first take fame. who did she help with a handy j (american dad ref) to get that gig anyways... F the scum tuesday of hate week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I said it last week and I'll say it again. To quote the talented Mr. Wolfe, well let's not start sucking each others' dicks just yet. I think a loss to Michigan is highly improbable, but I also would never have imagined we'd be going into overtime at home against Iowa with a freshman qb at the helm. Our defense is sick, but Purdue and Iowa proved that they are susceptible to lapses, particularly against highly motivated QBs. Much as I hate to give the guy props, Forcier has shown that he can play, oftentimes with much more heart than Pryor. Not trying to be a buzz kill. Just trying to temper expectations in the hopes that this somehow also sobers the team a little so they don't get overconfident. The biggest thing we have going for us, apart from being the better team, is that Tressel always gets the guys ready for Michigan. Not too worried about a letdown, but I also think this game will be closer than it should be.

That's how a championship defense practices..... Bwhahahahahahahahahaha
Fortunately for the scUM players, those may be the only form tackles they have on a Block O all week....

..........very stupid... Boren is going to be very very angry!

Boren SMASH!
Ooooooh, I am so scared!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Perhaps the infamous overtime training time worksheets were stuffed inside those things.
you laugh now, but all that OT training Taint Forcer has been doing has got his bench up to 135 x5!!!!!
Like Boren is half the player Brandon Graham is.
so, is this going to be your thing all week?
I thought you were done posting here yesterday......
troll toll, pay up.

where did you hear/read that?

it would be a foolish financial decision by the rose bowl selection committee

You can't be a troll when you have read 11w daily for the past few years. I've been around longer than some of you have.

you can most definitely be a troll if you've read this site or any others daily for years...
what happened to your "last post" yesterday? was that just the last post of the day?
Posted this on my blog just a little while ago, thought I would share.

So Nick Mangold was on The Herd and predicted Buckeyes win 60-0...
Bold words from a bold man.

But your right Graham is calling out Boren...

who did they beat that year? (ha!)

I thought Zona screwed themselves last weekend when they lost to Cal???

What was Cowherd's response to that?
Archie said it best in today's Dispatch:
"Do I want them to beat us to make the rivalry more interesting? No. I want to beat them all the time."
F parity! F M*ch*g*n!
Maybe Boren thought UM's family values weren't was good was they was.
as they was too.
No just the last post on the topic. Why are you trying to argue with me over this technical BS. GO stroke your ego with someone else.
why don't you just nail him to the cross for his opinion, SBB?
I'm pretty sure the only way the Rose Bowl can't take their Big Ten or Pac 10 tie in would be if one of them were playing for the championship.
Players dig the uni's but hate the cleats.

if you want me to i could..
you know what they say opinions are like...
It looks like Raymont could still play.
Watch what the DL does this Sat & they will do it at least 8 deep. You are going to see something you will remember for a long time.
hold on... who the f*ck is dana jacobson?
USC blah blah USC blah blah....
is that an officially licensed Ohio State logo?
she's on first take, formerly cold pizza. isn't the guy from that show a former Columbus sportscaster for 10tv or something?
Wait, doesn't Cinncy have to beat the fighting Wannstaches to win the Big East?
