Pittman, Wells Cleared by OSU Investigation
In the end, Spaghettigate didn’t quite have the legs of some of its better-known *gates brethren. A university investigation has concluded no NCAA rules violations arose from the dinner/fund-raiser put on for the families of Antonio Pittman, Chris Wells and two other Buckeyes from the Akron area. This will surely be a big disappointment for someone that has become the Bill Bennett of 11W comments, but it’s good to have this out of the way.
I think MotSaG raised a great point discussing this fiasco in regards to Pittman’s future:
I’d also bet that this situation has hardened Pittman’s stance on returning for another year. Would you come back to deal with this kind of hilarity, if you had an opportunity to be free from it?
