We're definitely at the point in the season where the Michigan Wolverines begin to dominate the two or three braincells that we have left rattling around our skulls, and that was before they decided to embroil themselves in the funniest college football scandal this side of stripper monkeys biting kids at birthday parties.

So you'll forgive us if Michigan (and Heisman) talk dominates the Dubcast this week. We'd like to spend the better part of an hour talking about Ryan Day's rotational choices at the slot receiver position, but it's too much fun talking about Marvin Harrison, Jr. being a badass and Connor Stalions owning a vacuum business on the side (maybe???). But hey, who can blame us? Dubcast has gotta eat. Here's how everything broke down this week:

  • Thank you for joining us at the Dubgate! It was great meeting everyone and enjoying an imminent beatdown of Michigan State
  • Ryan Day and company rolled Sparty from the jump; Kyle McCord looked completely on point, but how much of that was due to Buckeye excellence versus Michigan State incompetence?
  • Injuries continue to dog the Buckeyes, but the defense was fine (for now) despite that
  • Marvin Marvin Marvin Marvin Marvin MARVIN
  • Ask Us Anything, which you can do by sending us a question to dubcast@elevenwarriors.com, wants to know how Kyle McCord will play against Michigan. Us too!
  • Fire James Franklin... into the sun
  • Jimbo gets fired... not into the sun, he just gets fired
  • Basketbucks lose, and looked pretty bad on the glass
  • Is C.J. Stroud really this freaking amazing already? Dude is on pace for the best rookie quarterback season in history right now, and league MVP doesn't seem to be out of reach

And that'll do it for this week! Thanks as always to our sponsor, OneMedical, thanks to you for listening and checking out the Dry Goods store, and we'll see you next time!
