Welcome to the Skull Session.
The #content came out of a firehose this weekend. That means it's time for another Rapid Fire Skull Session™.
Question before we start: Is this good?
The 2025 NFL Draft is over, and the Ohio State Buckeyes led the pack. pic.twitter.com/znweDvHw3A

Have a good Monday.
BUCKS TO BUCS. This Ohio State football video of Emeka Egbuka's draft experience made me smile!

Bucks → Bucs
Let's Go Buc(k)s!
THE STANDARD IS THE STANDARD. For the past four years, Egbuka has been a great ambassador for Ohio State football. He will continue to be one in the NFL.
"We have a certain standard at Ohio State ... it felt kind of like my duty and my obligation to be able to do what I did during my career."

Remember: The standard is the standard, and the standard is excellence — that is, the People, the Tradition, the Excellence.
BAD TAKE! Oh, man. Oh, man. Oh, man.
Oregon has better WRs than Ohio State has on their roster RIGHT NOW
— Ryne Schill (@ryneschill) June 3, 2021
In 4 years, you'll look back, and you'll realize how correct this statement is
Oregon's top wide receivers in 2021:
- Devon Williams
- Kris Hutson
- Johnny Johnson III
- Troy Franklin
- Jaylon Redd
- Mycah Pittman
Ohio State's top wide receivers in 2021:
- Chris Olave
- Garrett Wilson
- Jaxon Smith-Njigba
- Marvin Harrison Jr.
- Emeka Egbuka
- Julian Fleming
Who's gonna tell him?
GOOD TAKE! It's Newton's Third Law: Every bad take needs an equal and opposite good take.

LEMONADE MOUTH. One of the best moments in the NFL draft came when the Cleveland Browns tried to call Quinshon Judkins before selecting him with the No. 36 overall pick in the second round.
Judkins swears he wasn't in the bathroom; he was in the kitchen, pouring lemonade instead.
Just so yall know, Quinshon Judkins was NOT in the bathroom when the phone rang just a quick lemonade break.@wsfa12news @wsfa12news @quinshon_ pic.twitter.com/DMvXvp8v3L

I believe him... but my Tommy Gun don't!
Just kidding — I believe him.
Thanks for the laugh, Quinshon.
ONE-LEGGED WILLY. Another one of the best moments from the NFL draft was a video of Will Howard's reaction to the Pittsburgh Steelers selecting him with the No. 185 overall pick in the sixth round.

Oh, all the feels!
All the feels!
TWO PEAS IN A POD. In an appearance on NFL Live earlier this month, Howard was asked which Ohio State teammate he would want to join forces with in the NFL.
The first name that came to Howard's mind?
Jack Sawyer.
Funny how life works sometimes.
— Baku (@Mazursky8895) April 27, 2025
Before the draft Will Howard was asked if he could bring anyone with him to the team he is drafted to who would it be?
His first answer Jack Sawyer. pic.twitter.com/6fmk8xB0HL
It's so freakin' cool that Howard and Sawyer will be teammates at the next level. However, it's not so freakin' cool that the former Buckeyes will be teammates on the Steelers. That produces immense pain as a Browns fan!

TWO PEAS IN A POD (PART TWO). The New England Patriots selected TreVeyon Henderson with the No. 38 overall pick in the second round and signed Gee Scott Jr. as an undrafted free agent.
TreVeyon Henderson goes just two picks after Quinshon Judkins as the New England Patriots draft Henderson with the 38th overall pick. https://t.co/W243hI0jsA

Gee Scott Jr. will reunite with TreVeyon Henderson in New England after signing with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent. https://t.co/viIZf3EusQ
— Eleven Warriors (@11W) April 27, 2025
I am pleased to see that the Ohio State duo will connect at New England's rookie camp. However, I am not so pleased with Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel.
Why?
Because the Patriots had the final pick in the 2025 NFL draft, and with the Buckeyes one selection from matching Georgia's record for the most selections in a single draft (15), the Patriots picked former Memphis cornerback Kobee Minor instead of Scott, Seth McLaughlin or Josh Fryar.
What the heck, Mike?!
SIX PEAS IN A POD...? Don't call them the Arizona Cardinals; call them the Arizona Buckeyes.
In 2023, the Cardinals drafted Paris Johnson Jr. with the No. 6 overall pick. In 2024, the Cardinals drafted Marvin Harrison Jr. with the No. 4 overall pick. And in 2025, the Cardinals added Justin Frye to their staff, drafted Cody Simon (No. 115 in Round 4) and Denzel Burke (No. 174 in Round 5) and signed Josh Fryar as an undrafted free agent.
Cody Simon is the first Buckeye off the board on Day 3 as the Arizona Cardinals select him with the No. 115 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft. https://t.co/XzumuTxPP6

Denzel Burke becomes the latest member of BIA to enter the NFL ranks as his hometown Arizona Cardinals select him with the No. 174 overall pick in the 2025 draft. https://t.co/KvivXT7t91

Josh Fryar reunites with Justin Frye as the Arizona Cardinals sign him as an undrafted free agent. https://t.co/TPM3tOguHa

Six peas in a pod!
MONEY, MONEY, MONEY, MONEY... MONEY! For an undrafted free agent, Fryar got paidddddd.
According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC Houston, Fryar signed the third-largest deal among undrafted free agents in 2025.
Largest undrafted deals so far: #Buccaneers Benjamin Chukwuma $300,000) #Commanders Tim McKay $275K #Cardinals Josh Fryar $269K #Seahawks Connor O'Toole $264K #Chiefs Jake Briningstool $264K #Cardinals Bryson Green $264K #Cowboys Alijah Clark $259K #Buccaneers Jake https://t.co/n7KVq2Czff pic.twitter.com/cMZ1TwLQhO
— Aaron Wilson (@AaronWilson_NFL) April 27, 2025
Wilson also reported that Fryar's deal included a $35,000 signing bonus and a $234,000 base salary. Quick math tells me that's $269,000 guaranteed for the former Ohio State stalwart.
Not bad!
Not bad at all!
RIVALS TO TEAMMATES. The Cardinals added three Buckeyes in 2025. They also added one Wolverine.
Former Michigan cornerback Will Johnson fell from potential top-10 pick to Day 2 after doctors spotted a potential issue with one of Johnson's knees during the pre-draft process. Arizona scooped him up with the No. 47 overall pick in the second round.
Harrison welcomed Johnson to Arizona with a post on Instagram:

Those Cardinals practices will be wild.
