This has to be "Holy Buckeye," but Gus Johnson's call for the Ron Lewis shot in 2007 is definitely a sleeper.

Word of the Day: Flagging.

THE 'SHOE THE MAGNET. I've always thought Ohio Stadium had the coolest, most apt nickname of any stadium in the country.

Turns out, I was wrong – Ohio Stadium used to have the coolest, most apt nickname of any stadium in the country.

"The Magnet which will draw the rest of the world to Columbus." That turned out to be one hell of a prophecy.

THIS VIDEO IS NOT SPED UP. So, Ohio State's heading into the 2021 season with a guy who is pretty unanimously considered the best wide receiver in the country.

And hilariously, the fellow in this video is not that guy.

To those of you struggling to even comprehend what you just watched, this guy effectively just beat a ball in the air from the 40-yard line to the end zone starting from a dead stop.

God help the poor DBs responsible for handling that this year as he lines up opposite of a dude who caught 15 passes for 347 yards the last time he stepped on a football field.

FUTURE, MEET CURRENT. It looks like Ohio State's future and current signal-callers got a chance to spend some time together at this weekend's Steve Clarkson QB Retreat in Los Angeles.

Behold:

Here's hoping this photo ages a little better than this one.

GOLDEN BEAR APPROVED. Rest easy, folks – Ryan Day has received the official Golden Bear seal of approval.

Jack Nicklaus ate dinner with Ryan Day last week and came away impressed by the Ohio State football coach.

“First time I had actually met Ryan. What a nice young man,” the 82-year-old Nicklaus said Tuesday during an hour-long media session at Muirfield Village Golf Club, site of the Memorial Tournament that tees off Thursday.

“I would call him a young man,” Nicklaus said, smiling, of the 43-year-old coach. “Got his head screwed on great. He says he’s looking forward to this year. He’s going to have a great team.”

Hearing "got his head screwed on great" from Jack Nicklaus is really the only performance review Day needs.

I'm convinced. National title incoming.

SONG OF THE DAY. "Drunken Lullabies" by Flogging Molly.

NOT STICKING TO SPORTS. A missing pet tortoise is found in an attic 30 years later, still alive and well... An algorithm can tell that you're depressed from the tone of your voice... How did a bottle of Tabasco sauce find its way into a painting of The Last Supper?... Mice are afraid of bananas and scientists just found out why...
