Happy Father's day to all the non-racist dads out there — but specifically mine, who is No. 1 — as well as all the moms that played both roles 'cause their baby daddy ain't nothing.

11W WEEK IN REVIEW. Here's some stuff written this week by people more talented than me:

MACK LOOKS FORWARD TO NEW HOME. Austin Mack, an electric 2016 WR prospect, committed to Ohio State earlier this month. The Fort Wayne product, like a lot of Ohio State commits and recruiting targets, was in town this weekend.

Fans will have high hopes for Austin, but he's already set the bar high.

From Tim May of Dispatch.com:

“Just making those relationships, especially with Jalin Marshall or Johnnie Dixon,” Mack said of two receivers already with the Buckeyes. “Just being able to interact with the players and see what their feel is for the school.

“It wasn’t just based on them, why I picked Ohio State, but that definitely helped.”

[...]

“I’ll definitely come in and be like a Mike Thomas (the 2014 national championship team’s leading pass catcher) or a Noah Brown, definitely at their position, for sure,” Mack said.

Big words from a guy entering his senior year of high school, but Mack looks every bit the part on film.

For all of Urban's playmakers at Ohio State, I don't think he's had a receiver like Mack. To me, Mack could be the perfect blend of Devin Smith's speed and Mike Thomas' technical skills.

WHY WE LOVE CARDALE. Dolodale made headlines last January when he breezed into Nationwide's Children Hospital and obliterated a kid in NCAA Football.

While the final score went viral, the trip forged a special bond between Cardale Jones and Jared Foley. So much so that the championship QB returned to the scene of the crime recently to visit Foley. (No NCAA was played.)

From 10TV.com:

According to his mother, Jared Foley has spent the last several days in the emergency room as the result of a stroke.  Foley had to be ventilated and was even admitted to the ICU.

However, 12-Gauge was right there to lift Jared’s spirits.  Jones visited Foley at Nationwide Children’s Hospital on Wednesday.

[...]

Jared’s mom, Stacy, said Cardale was an “amazing young man for making it a priority to provide smile therapy” to her son, adding he “is class on and off the field.”

Hang in there, Jared. A lot can change with time — just ask your pal, Cardale.

WELCOME TO THE GRIND. I'm officially over Summer 2015, and it's not even July. This may be a record. (I also may regret this when it's February and -12 degrees. Hopefully the glow from Ohio State's second College Football Trophy is enough to keep me warm.)

TAKE: It's a lot easier to defend Ohio's honor from the couch than on the gridiron.

THOSE WMDs. A thirsty Colorado is fighting over who owns raindrops... The Last Book... The Godfather of Clickbait... Vincent van Gogh in 1887... Drone Wars.
