We finally got to watch the Buckeyes practice a little football on Saturday.

For the first time in seven months, Ohio State opened up a portion of its football practice to the media on Saturday, and both members of the Real Pod Wednesdays crew were there to get a glimpse of the action and share some observations. We go into more detail about what we took away from the practice on this week's show, including our excitement to see Ohio State's loaded offense in game action, the likelihood that C.J. Stroud and numerous freshman wide receivers could be in the two-deep and why the Buckeyes' defensive tackle depth could be an issue.

Around the 21-minute mark, we shift our focus to Ohio State's linebackers – following their press conference last week – and how the Buckeyes' defense could change as a result of Pete Werner moving to Will linebacker, Baron Browning and Justin Hilliard replacing him at Sam linebacker and potentially, Josh Proctor and Marcus Hooker being on the field together far more often than Ohio State used two-safety packages last year.

We also discuss some of our other takeaways from the past week of press conferences, including the revelation that some coaches aren't even going home to their families right now due to COVID-19 and why Steele Chambers and walk-on Xavier Johnson seem to be emerging as the next men up behind Master Teague and Trey Sermon at running back.

This week's Three Things We Think starts about the 45-minute mark, giving Colin an opportunity to share his takeaways from last week's Ohio State basketball press conference while Dan talks about why he's surprised Paris Johnson Jr. hasn't lost his black stripe, why he isn't buying the notion that Trey Lance could be a better NFL draft prospect than Justin Fields and why the Big 12's College Football Playoff hopes are probably already dead.

We spend the final 18 minutes of the show answering your listener questions, including why we don't think the extra year of eligibility for current players will have much more impact on Ohio State's future recruiting efforts, why it's fair to point to the offensive system change for Jaelen Gill and Demario McCall's struggles at Ohio State and what our favorite Game Posters from past years have been.
