McKenna is fresh off an upset of No. 2 Kevin Jack of North Carolina State and is wrestling as well as he has all season.

Kyle Snyder, the reigning Olympic and World Champion for the United States at 97kg, will get a chance to avenge his only collegiate loss in three years this weekend, where he's expected to meet Michigan's Adam Coon in the finals.

Penn State was the only other team in the Big Ten to earn pre-seeds for all 10 of its starting wrestlers, with four individual Nittany Lions seeded first.

While coaches can lobby for seeding adjustments ahead of the Big Ten Wrestling Championships, the pre-seeds are typically a good guide for where each wrestler will end up seeded heading into the tournament.

The 2018 Big Ten Wrestling Championships take place Saturday and Sunday, March 3 and 4 in East Lansing, Michigan. You can catch the first three session on BTN Plus, while the final session, featuring championship matches will be televised by BTN at 3 p.m. Sunday.
