A four-star recruit from the 2024 class, Armstrong did not play any snaps in his two seasons at Ohio State. He will bring three years of eligibility to Miami.
Armstrong’s twin brother, Deontae, remains with the Buckeyes. Devontae and Deontae were Ohio State’s first set of scholarship twins since John and Mike Sullivan in 1989. They also joined a long line of brothers to be on scholarship for the same Ohio State team, including Zach and Jacoby Boren (2012), Zach and Justin Boren (2009-10), Jayson and Anthony Gwinn (1993), Chris and Brian Stablein (1989-90), Archie and Ray Griffin (1974), and more.
