Bo Jackson has had a historic freshman season.

In Ohio State's Big Ten Championship Game matchup with Indiana, Jackson surpassed 1,000 rushing yards in 2025, becoming the fifth freshman to accomplish the feat, joining Robert Smith (1990), Maurice Clarett (2002), J.K. Dobbins (2017) and TreVeyon Henderson (2021).

Jackson is the 28th Buckeye to surpass 1,000 rushing yards in a single season since 1960, with those 28 players combining for 40 1,000-yard years.
