Ohio State is down one of its starting defensive ends against Minnesota.
Kenyatta Jackson Jr. went down after delivering a hit to Minnesota quarterback Drake Lindsey that forced an incompletion and has exited the contest. NBC later reported that the injury was a "stinger."
Jackson stayed on the ground for a few minutes after the hit to Lindsey, then wobbled when he first stood up. He did walk off the field under his own power, however. He was spotted on an exercise bike during Ohio State's following offensive possession.
North Carolina transfer Beau Atkinson came on for Jackson to play opposite Caden Curry, Ohio State's other starting defensive end. Freshman Zion Grady came in for Atkinson on third-and-long, getting the call over senior edge rusher C.J. Hicks.
Jackson did not return to the game and was no longer in uniform for the second half.
