Ohio State safety Caleb Downs and his brother, Colts receiver Josh Downs, welcomed a pair of familiar faces onto this week’s episode of Downs 2 Business: Buckeye defenders Sonny Styles and Lorenzo Styles. The conversation bounced between Ohio State’s early-season dominance, growing up in a football household, classic sibling stories, and the movie Caleb watched on the flight to Washington (Interstellar).
Caleb opened by reflecting on Ohio State’s win at Washington, a game that pushed the Buckeyes to 4–0 [4:08].
“We’ve stuck to the basics, stuck to our fundamentals," Downs shared. "That’s been the biggest thing Coach Patricia’s been talking about, just trying to make sure that we focus on the fundamentals and not look past the things that matter the most: tackling, block destruction, covering, and that's the basis of defense."
"Block destruction." Now, that's a phrase we can get behind.
The Downs brothers then got into Washington's failed fake field goal and Jeremiah's Smith's catch and run for six not long after Washington's mistake.
"He probably hit maybe 22, 23 on that. He was sliding," Josh said of No. 4.
The brothers then discussed quarterback Julian Sayin's hot start [9:33].
“He always had that cool calmness.”– Caleb Downs on Julian Sayin
"It's just crazy to see. When he pulled up at Bama, he was like 165, or 170. 'I'm like this kid is tiny!'," Caleb shared of his first impression of Sayin. "He gained a lot of weight and looks good, but he developed as a player and developed as a person. He always had that cool calmness that he plays with so I'm not surprised."
This week’s Eleven Warriors Fan Question of the Week came from ColoradoBuckeye21: Would it be more fun to play on the same NFL team or against each other [13:19]?

Sonny and Lorenzo Styles then joined the show, sharing stories from their childhood in Pickerington, why Lorenzo transferred out of Notre Dame, team trolls and more [22:17].
"Y'all want to know who the biggest troll on our team is," Caleb asked. "Sonny Styles."
"It's a fun hobby," Sonny shared. "I don't make anybody crash out. I just make people laugh. I'll be able to make a joke whenever. Serious situations. We'll be on the field and…"
"He says some crazy stuff in games," Caleb said while laughing. "I can't even repeat what he says."
The full episode also touches on Sonny's honor of wearing the Block 0 jersey, the importance of film study, and how both sets of brothers keep each other sharp on and off the field.
