How lopsided of a score is the game between Ohio State and Grambling State supposed to be, you ask?
Not a single sportsbook released a spread or total for the matchup between the top-ranked Buckeyes and the FCS foe until Friday afternoon, when FanDuel Sportsbook finally released a spread and game total.
That said, this afternoon's 3:30 kick will give Ohio State a game to work on its craft, score a lot of points, and play a lot of players, hopefully including ones who work very hard behind the scenes but rarely get any opportunity for playing time on Saturdays in the fall.
Whether it's a blowout or not, any Ohio State gameday is better than no Buckeye gameday at all, so never take gamedays for granted.

Score Predictions
Andy Anders - Ohio State 63, Grambling State 0: After an epic battle in Week 1, it’s time for some tune-ups before Big Ten play. The Buckeyes take the chance to open up their passing game and show the full force of Jeremiah Smith with the best weapons in college football.
Chase Brown - Ohio State 69, Grambling State 0: I am excited to watch the band at halftime.
George Eisner - Ohio State 49, Grambling State 0: Sportsbooks refusing to publish a spread or point total on this game prior to Thursday speaks to how little confidence anybody has in a projection beyond the final result. Ryan Day probably pulls the starters at halftime and runs as much clock as possible throughout to put next to nothing on film. The Buckeye defense refuses to budge against an opposing offense only been tested by NAIA competition so far.
Jack Emerson - Ohio State 56, Grambling State 7: Hartline and Co. get the passing game more involved, and the Buckeyes roll over an overmatched Grambling State squad — giving up their only score in garbage time.
Matt Gutridge - Ohio State 63, Grambling State 0: Under Ryan Day, Ohio State has scored 60 or more points six times, with the largest margin of victory during his tenure being the 76-5 thrashing of Miami, Ohio, in 2019. The Buckeyes should score at will against Grambling State and it will be a matter of how many points Day and company want to hang on this overmatched FCS opponent.
Dan Hope - Ohio State 59, Grambling State 0: Playing an FCS opponent will be a great opportunity for Ohio State to open up the offense – and for the Buckeye defense to get the shutout it just barely missed out on last week.
Kyle Jones - Ohio State 56, Grambling State 0: Don’t think I need to explain myself.
Chris Lauderback - Ohio State 56, Grambling State 0: Jeremiah goes for 150 yards and two touchdowns in the first half, Sayin completes 85% of his throws, and Peoples and Donaldson bust runs better than the six and eight-yard longs they posted last week before Day empties the bench. Oh and Phil Daniels continues his emergence as my favorite offensive lineman, thanks to his mean streak and intensity.
Ramzy Nasrallah - Ohio State 69, Grambling State 0: Will the Buckeyes have a single punt that travels more than 40 yards in the air? Trick question, if they are forced to punt at all, everyone, including the staff, should run laps around the four Script Ohio during halftime.
Josh Poloha - Ohio State 63, Grambling State 3: It's going to be a whole lot to very, very little. The only question is, when will Ohio State put its foot on the brake and slow things down a little to just run the clock out? Given the offense's struggles last week in the win over Texas, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of players want to not only rack up some numbers but also get in the end zone, too.
Jason Priestas - Ohio State 53, Grambling State 0: The Silver Bullets are smothering as Julian Sayin gets a chance to show off the new Buckeye passing game.
Jordan Raines - Ohio State 59, Grambling State 0: Bucks take their foot off the gas just before hitting 60 points. 2014 Big Ten title vibes.
Will Ohio State Cover?
It took almost the whole week for a sportsbook to release betting lines for the game, but Friday afternoon, Ohio State was finally listed as a 55.5-point favorite over Grambling State. It's a record-setting number for the Buckeyes, as OSU has never been favored by more than 52 points. It's also the largest for any college football game since LSU hosted Grambling State in 2023. The LSU Tigers were 56.5-point favorites for that game, which they won 72-10.
With that, nine staff members believe Ohio State will cover the spread, while three – Jason Priestas, George Eisner and Jack Emerson – don't believe the Buckeyes will cover the massive spread.
What About the Over?
The over/under has been set at 62.5 in a game that Ohio State will have to score around 99% of those points, give or take, for the total to reach the over.
Eleven staff members believe the total will be at least 63, while George Eisner is the only one who believes it won't.
