Accuracy of Day's likeness aside, it's at least a fun feature that Ohio State's coach (and others across the sport) will be featured in this year's version of the game, considering all head coaches in last year's edition were fictional. Day was one of several coaches to appear on the deluxe edition cover along with Penn State's James Franklin, Georgia's Kirby Smart, Notre Dame's Marcus Freeman, Oregon's Dan Lanning, Ole Miss' Lane Kiffin and Arizona State's Kenny Dillingham.
Of course, OSU wideout Jeremiah Smith is one of two featured athletes on the standard edition of the cover, along with Alabama wide receiver Ryan Williams. Smith, Day and safety Caleb Downs are all included on the deluxe edition cover.
