Former Ohio State Wide Receiver Julian Fleming Seriously Injured, Girlfriend Alyssa Boyd Killed in Tragic ATV Accident Friday

Former Ohio State wide receiver Julian Fleming was seriously injured in an ATV accident that resulted in one death Friday evening, per a Pennsylvania State Police report

Per the report, Fleming and a woman, 23-year-old Alyssa Boyd, were riding an ATV when they collided with a deer that jumped out onto the roadway, and neither Fleming nor Boyd were wearing safety equipment. Fleming, who was the driver, suffered serious injuries and was brought to Guthrie Troy Community Hospital. Boyd, who according to a report from 247Sports was Fleming's girlfriend, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

According to the report from 247Sports, Fleming has since been released from the hospital. 

Fleming spent four seasons at Ohio State and played in 38 games, catching 80 passes for 990 yards and seven touchdowns in his career. He transferred to Penn State for his final collegiate season, playing all 16 games and catching 14 passes for 176 yards and one touchdown.

Fleming was supposed to sign with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent following the 2025 NFL Draft, but had the offer rescinded upon failing a physical, per The News-Item
