Emeka Egbuka goes to the Buccaneers at No. 19 and Donovan Jackson is chosen by the Vikings at No. 24 in the NFL Draft.
It’s officially NFL draft week.
With the 2025 NFL draft set to begin in just four days, Ohio State is still projected to have its most prolific draft ever in terms of total players drafted. All of Ohio State’s 15 NFL Scouting Combine participants are either unanimously or nearly unanimously projected to be drafted in seven-round mocks, which would break OSU’s previous record of 14 draftees and tie Georgia’s record for the most players selected in a seven-round draft.
Where exactly each of those 15 Buckeyes will be drafted remains in question, as none of them are unanimously projected as first-round picks. Yet it’s not out of the question that Ohio State could have as many as five first-rounders, with Josh Simmons, Emeka Egbuka, Donovan Jackson, TreVeyon Henderson and Tyleik Williams each drawing first-round projections across multiple mock drafts. And all but one of those 15 Buckeyes are projected to be selected in the first three rounds in at least one mock draft, setting up the possibility of a record-setting first two days of the draft for Ohio State.
In our final NFL Mock Draft Roundup of the year before the 2025 NFL draft kicks off Thursday, we’ve surveyed 30 recently updated mock drafts from around the Web for a look at the various projections for each Buckeye entering draft week. With far more draft analysts publishing multi-round mocks in the days leading up to the draft, this roundup includes 10 seven-round mocks, two four-round mocks, nine three-round mocks, three two-round mocks and six one-round mocks, as linked below:

Average Draft Projection: 25.2 (+1.3)
Simmons is the lone Buckeye who will be in attendance in Green Bay for Thursday night’s first round of the NFL draft, reflecting his status as Ohio State’s surest first-round pick. He’s not quite a lock to be a first-rounder, falling into the early second round of six of the 30 mocks in this roundup, but he is OSU’s most widely projected first-round choice.
While Simmons is projected as a top-10 pick in a couple of mock drafts, the majority of mocks have Simmons being selected in the second half of Round 1. The most popular projection for any Buckeye in this mock draft roundup is the Houston Texans selecting Simmons with the 25th overall pick, which would help shore up the pass protection for C.J. Stroud after he was sacked 52 times in 2024.
WR Emeka Egbuka
- Round 1, No. 18, Seattle Seahawks: Ross
- Round 1, No. 19, Houston Texans: Reuter
- Round 1, No. 22, Los Angeles Chargers: 2 (Cummings, Kiper/Yates)

- Round 1, No. 30, Buffalo Bills: Janvrin
- Round 1, No. 32, Philadelphia Eagles: Weissman
- Round 2, No. 33, Cleveland Browns: 2 (PFN, Tankathon)
- Round 2, No. 34, Seattle Seahawks: Ulrich
- Round 2, No. 35, Tennessee Titans: 2 (DeLeone, Hallam)
- Round 2, No. 36, Jacksonville Jaguars: 2 (Kinnan, Sobleski)
- Round 2, No. 37, Las Vegas Raiders: Edwards
- Round 2, No. 44, Dallas Cowboys: Jones
- Round 2, No. 48, Miami Dolphins: Trapasso
Average Draft Projection: 29.6 (-1.4)
Draft prognosticators are split on whether Egbuka will be a first- or second-round pick as he’s projected as a Round 1 pick in 60% (18 of 30) of the mock drafts in this roundup.
There’s plenty of potential landing spots for Egbuka late in the first round, as eight different teams are projected to pick Egbuka within the last 11 picks of Round 1 in at least one mock draft. The most commonly projected landing spots for Egbuka are the Texans – should they choose to use their first-round pick on a weapon for Stroud rather than a blocker – or the Washington Commanders, who would team him with fellow former Ohio State receiver Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel in one of the NFL’s best wide receiver units.
OG/T Donovan Jackson
- Round 1, No. 17, Cincinnati Bengals: Ostly
- Round 1, No. 24, Minnesota Vikings: Kiper/Yates
- Round 1, No. 25, Houston Texans: 2 (Janvrin, Ross)
- Round 1, No. 27, Baltimore Ravens: Kinnan
- Round 1, No. 31, Kansas City Chiefs: 2 (Edwards, Ulrich)
- Round 2, No. 34, New York Giants: PFN
- Round 2, No. 36, Jacksonville Jaguars: Iyer
- Round 2, No. 38, New England Patriots: Tankathon
- Round 2, No. 39, Chicago Bears: Risdon
- Round 2, No. 40, New Orleans Saints: 2 (Jones, Weissman)
- Round 2, No. 42, New York Jets: Sheath
- Round 2, No. 43, San Francisco 49ers: 4 (DeLeone, Easterling, Renner, Reuter)
- Round 2, No. 45, Indianapolis Colts: 2 (Decker, Miller)
- Round 2, No. 47, Arizona Cardinals: 2 (Crabbs, Draft Tek)
- Round 2, No. 48, Miami Dolphins: 4 (Brugler, Cummings, Infante, Sobleski)
- Round 2, No. 49, Cincinnati Bengals: Lamb
- Round 2, No. 50, Seattle Seahawks: Trapasso
- Round 2, No. 63, Kansas City Chiefs: Hallam
Average Draft Projection: 39.6 (-4.8)
Jackson appears in the first round in seven of the 30 mock drafts in this roundup, but is otherwise projected to be a second-round pick, with the majority of recent mock drafts projecting Jackson will be selected in the first half of Round 2.
The teams commonly projected to draft Jackson in the early second round are the San Francisco 49ers and Miami Dolphins, both teams who enter the draft with needs at guard, the position Jackson is expected to play primarily in the NFL despite his excellent play as Ohio State’s left tackle during the second half of this past season as he helped lead the Buckeyes to a national championship.
RB TreVeyon Henderson
- Round 1, No. 20, Denver Broncos: 2 (Cummings, Kinnan)
- Round 1, No. 31, Kansas City Chiefs: Bartel
- Round 2, No. 36, Jacksonville Jaguars: Trapasso
- Round 2, No. 37, Las Vegas Raiders: 3 (Easterling, Sheath, Sobleski)
- Round 2, No. 39, Chicago Bears: 6 (Brugler, Edwards, Hallam, Jones, Kiper/Yates, Renner)
- Round 2, No. 41, Chicago Bears: Crabbs
- Round 2, No. 44, Dallas Cowboys: 6 (Draft Tek, Lamb, Reuter, Tankathon, Ulrich, Weissman)
- Round 2, No. 51, Denver Broncos: 3 (Infante, PFN, Risdon)
- Round 2, No. 61, Washington Commanders: DeLeone
- Round 3, No. 76, Dallas Cowboys: Iyer
Average Draft Projection: 41.9 (+8.8)
Henderson has been the biggest riser among Ohio State’s projected early-round draft picks in mock drafts over the past couple of weeks. While Henderson’s projections were split mainly between the second and third rounds in earlier mock drafts, he’s now drawing more first-round projections than third-round projections, though the consensus remains that he will be selected in the second round.
That said, two of the three first-round projections for Henderson in this roundup came in mocks that were just published Saturday, with both of those mocks citing the growing buzz that the Denver Broncos are considering Henderson with the No. 20 overall pick.
All but four of the 25 mock drafts that include Henderson in this roundup have the former Ohio State running back going to one of four teams: the Broncos, the Chicago Bears, the Dallas Cowboys or the Las Vegas Raiders, where he would reunite with former Ohio State offensive coordinator Chip Kelly.
DT Tyleik Williams
- Round 1, No. 28, Detroit Lions: Kinnan
- Round 1, No. 30, Buffalo Bills: 3 (DeLeone, Schad, USAT)
- Round 1, No. 31, Kansas City Chiefs: Sobleski
- Round 2, No. 33, Cleveland Browns: Iyer
- Round 2, No. 36, Jacksonville Jaguars: 2 (Cummings, Risdon)
- Round 2, No. 39, Chicago Bears: Sheath
- Round 2, No. 40, New Orleans Saints: PFN
- Round 2, No. 41, Chicago Bears: 4 (Draft Tek, Easterling, Edwards, Lamb)
- Round 2, No. 42, New York Jets: Infante
- Round 2, No. 43, San Francisco 49ers: 3 (Jones, Tankathon, Ulrich)
- Round 2, No. 46, Atlanta Falcons: 2 (Brugler, Crabbs)
- Round 2, No. 48, Miami Dolphins: 2 (Renner, Weissman)
- Round 2, No. 49, Cincinnati Bengals: Hallam
- Round 2, No. 56, Buffalo Bills: 2 (Reuter, Trapasso)
- Round 3, No. 74, Carolina Panthers: Kiper/Yates
Average Draft Projection: 42 (+1.3)
Like Jackson and Henderson, Williams is projected as a second-round pick in most mock drafts but is drawing enough first-round projections to make the possibility of him going in Round 1 seem realistic. The team viewed as the most likely candidate to draft Williams in Round 1 is the Buffalo Bills, one of seven teams who hosted the former Ohio State defensive tackle on a pre-draft visit.
Other teams viewed as top candidates to draft Williams include the Bears, who hold two of the first nine picks in the second round, and the 49ers, who could pair Williams with fellow former Ohio State defensive lineman Nick Bosa – just as the Bills could pair Williams with Joey Bosa.
DE JT Tuimoloau
- Round 1, No. 29, Washington Commanders: Ross
- Round 2, No. 39, Chicago Bears: Cummings
- Round 2, No. 40, New Orleans Saints: Hallam
- Round 2, No. 41, Chicago Bears: Iyer
- Round 2, No. 52, Seattle Seahawks: 2 (Crabbs, Infante)
- Round 2, No. 53, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 3 (PFN, Risdon, Trapasso)
- Round 2, No. 54, Green Bay Packers: 2 (Reuter, Weissman)
- Round 2, No. 55, Los Angeles Chargers: Edwards
- Round 2, No. 59, Baltimore Ravens: Kiper/Yates
- Round 2, No. 60, Detroit Lions: 3 (Brugler, Renner, Tankathon)
- Round 2, No. 61, Washington Commanders: Easterling
- Round 2, No. 62, Buffalo Bills: Sheath
- Round 2, No. 63, Kansas City Chiefs: 2 (Jones, Lamb)
- Round 3, No. 66, Kansas City Chiefs: Kinnan
- Round 3, No. 72, Chicago Bears: Ulrich
- Round 3, No. 73, New York Jets: Draft Tek
- Round 3, No. 93, New Orleans Saints: DeLeone
Average Draft Projection: 57 (-1.6)
Tuimoloau draws a first-round projection from former NFL personnel executive Marc Ross, who views the former Ohio State defensive end as “maybe the most underrated player in this draft class.” As with Jackson, Henderson and Williams, however, the consensus is that Tuimoloau will be drafted in Round 2, which is where he appears in 19 of the 24 mock drafts in this roundup that include at least two rounds.
The most popular projected landing spots for the three-time All-Big Ten defensive end are the Bears, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs. Notably, the Chiefs haven’t drafted a player from Ohio State since 2009 while the Buccaneers haven’t drafted a Buckeye since 2004.
RB Quinshon Judkins
- Round 1, No. 28, Las Vegas Raiders: Bartel
- Round 2, No. 44, Dallas Cowboys: 4 (Brugler, Edwards, Hallam, Sobleskis)
- Round 2, No. 51, Denver Broncos: 2 (Trapasso, Weissman)
- Round 2, No. 55, Los Angeles Chargers: 2 (Kiper/Yates, Tankathon)
- Round 2, No. 58, Houston Texans: 2 (Reuter, Ulrich)
- Round 2, No. 61, Washington Commanders: 2 (Jones, PFN)
- Round 2, No. 63, Kansas City Chiefs: Kinnan
- Round 3, No. 65, New York Giants: Renner
- Round 3, No. 66, Kansas City Chiefs: 2 (DeLeone, Infante)
- Round 3, No. 68, Las Vegas Raiders: Cummings
- Round 3, No. 79, Houston Texans: Draft Tek
- Round 3, No. 83, Chicago Bears: Easterling
- Round 3, No. 87, Green Bay Packers: Crabbs
- Round 3, No. 97, Minnesota Vikings: Lamb
Average Draft Projection: 60.4 (-8.3)
Judkins also draws one first-round projection in this mock draft roundup. His comes in a projected trade up by the Raiders, with RotoWire’s Joe Bartel projecting Chip Kelly and Co. would favor Judkins over Henderson.
The consensus also views Judkins as a second-round pick, though that consensus isn’t quite as strong for Judkins as it is for Jackson, Henderson, Williams and Tuimoloau. 13 of the 24 mock drafts in this roundup that include at least two rounds have Judkins going in Round 2 while more mock drafts have him falling to Round 3 than all of the Buckeyes’ other consensus second-round picks combined.
As with Henderson, the Cowboys are viewed as one of the most likely teams to draft Judkins, as they’re expected to draft a running back after parting ways with former Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott last season.
DE Jack Sawyer
- Round 2, No. 38, New England Patriots: Sheath
- Round 2, No. 47, Arizona Cardinals: Hallam
- Round 2, No. 49, Cincinnati Bengals: Ulrich
- Round 2, No. 60, Detroit Lions: 2 (Infante, Iyer)
- Round 2, No. 66, Kansas City Chiefs: Tankathon
- Round 3, No. 69, New England Patriots: Reuter
- Round 3, No. 72, Chicago Bears: Brugler
- Round 3, No. 77, New England Patriots: Draft Tek
- Round 3, No. 81, Cincinnati Bengals: Kiper/Yates
- Round 3, No. 84, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 2 (Edwards, Renner)
- Round 3, No. 89, Houston Texans: Kinnan
- Round 3, No. 94, Cleveland Browns: Easterling
- Round 3, No. 100, San Francisco 49ers: Lamb
- Round 4, No. 128, Washington Commanders: Crabbs
- Round 5, No. 167, Tennessee Titans: Cummings
Average Draft Projection: 80.3 (-16.3)
There’s less of a consensus on where Sawyer will be drafted, as his projections range from as high as the early second round to as low as the late fifth round, but he’s projected to be a third-round pick in just over half of the mocks that he appears in.
The most commonly projected team to draft Sawyer in this roundup is the New England Patriots, who are now coached by a former Ohio State defensive lineman after hiring Mike Vrabel to be their new head coach.
S Lathan Ransom
- Round 3, No. 77, New England Patriots: PFN
- Round 3, No. 78, Arizona Cardinals: Lamb
- Round 3, No. 90, Philadelphia Eagles: Reuter
- Round 3, No. 97, Minnesota Vikings: Hallam
- Round 3, No. 98, Miami Dolphins: DeLeone
- Round 4, No. 103, Tennessee Titans: Crabbs
- Round 4, No. 106, New England Patriots: Iyer
- Round 4, No. 107, Jacksonville Jaguars: Edwards
- Round 4, No. 110, New York Jets: Infante
- Round 4, No. 116, Miami Dolphins: Tankathon
- Round 4, No. 130, Detroit Lions: Draft Tek
- Round 4, No. 133, Pittsburgh Steelers: Cummings
- Round 4, No. 134, Philadelphia Eagles: Brugler
Average Draft Projection: 106.1 (+0.8)
Ransom appears to sit on the fringe between being a late Day 2 pick or an early Day 3 draftee as he is projected to be either a third- or fourth-round pick in all but one mock draft in this roundup that includes at least four rounds.
Teams projected to draft Ransom in multiple mocks include the Patriots, the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles (who haven’t drafted a Buckeye since 2011) and the Miami Dolphins.
QB Will Howard
- Round 2, No. 40, New Orleans Saints: Lamb
- Round 3, No. 73, New York Jets: Sobleski
- Round 3, No. 83, Pittsburgh Steelers: PFN
- Round 3, No. 90, Los Angeles Rams: Kiper/Yates
- Round 4, No. 108, Las Vegas Raiders: 3 (Crabbs, Iyer, Hallam)
- Round 4, No. 123, Pittsburgh Steelers: Reuter
- Round 4, No. 127, Los Angeles Rams: Edwards
- Round 5, No. 143, Las Vegas Raiders: Brugler
- Round 5, No. 145, New York Jets: Infante
- Round 5, No. 150, Miami Dolphins: Draft Tek
- Round 5, No. 175, Seattle Seahawks: Cummings
Average Draft Projection: 113.3 (-5.8)
Like Sawyer, Howard is mocked to be selected as high as the early second round and as low as the late fifth round. Most of his projections, however, fall in the fourth or fifth round as he is projected to be a Day 2 pick in just four of the 21 mocks in this roundup that include at least three rounds.
Unsurprisingly given his connection to Kelly, the most popular projected landing spot for Howard is Las Vegas, where he’d start his career as a backup to Geno Smith. Other teams projected to draft Howard in multiple mocks include the New York Jets, which would pair him with another former Ohio State quarterback in Justin Fields; the Pittsburgh Steelers, whose quarterback situation for 2025 remains unclear as they await a decision from Aaron Rodgers; and the Los Angeles Rams, who could be in the market for a successor to 37-year-old starter Matthew Stafford.
CB Denzel Burke
- Round 2, No. 47, Arizona Cardinals: PFN
- Round 3, No. 70, Jacksonville Jaguars: Sobleski
- Round 3, No. 75, San Francisco 49ers: DeLeone
- Round 3, No. 99, New York Giants: Crabbs
- Round 3, No. 100, San Francisco 49ers: 2 (Iyer, Reuter)
- Round 4, No. 114, Carolina Panthers: Hallam
- Round 4, No. 119, Cincinnati Bengals: Cummings
- Round 4, No. 127, Los Angeles Rams: Infante
- Round 4, No. 135, Miami Dolphins: Easterling
- Round 4, No. 138, San Francisco 49ers: Edwards
- Round 5, No. 149, Dallas Cowboys: Draft Tek
- Round 5, No. 153, Cincinnati Bengals: Lamb
- Round 5, No. 164, Philadelphia Eagles: Brugler
Average Draft Projection: 113.6 (-1.9)
Like Howard, Burke is also projected to be selected as early as the second round and as late as the fifth round, but a majority of seven-round mock drafts project him to be a Day 3 draft choice.
The team most frequently projected to select Burke in recent mock drafts is San Francisco, who’s likely to be in the market for a cornerback in the early or middle rounds after losing starting cornerback Charvarius Ward to the Indianapolis Colts in free agency.
DT Ty Hamilton
- Round 3, No. 78, Arizona Cardinals: 2 (Brugler, Draft Tek)
- Round 4, No. 104, Cleveland Browns: Hallam
- Round 4, No. 108, Las Vegas Raiders: Edwards
- Round 4, No. 135, Miami Dolphins: Tankathon
- Round 5, No. 156, Pittsburgh Steelers: Cummings
- Round 5, No. 161, Philadelphia Eagles: Crabbs
- Round 6, No. 203, Baltimore Ravens: Reuter
- Round 6, No. 213, Las Vegas Raiders: Infante
- Round 7, No. 256, Los Angeles Chargers: Iyer
Average Draft Projection: 149.2 (+32)
No Buckeye is drawing a wider span of draft projections than Hamilton, who’s projected to be the Arizona Cardinals’ third-round pick in multiple mock drafts yet is projected to be the second-to-last pick of the entire draft by Sporting News’ Vinnie Iyer and was omitted entirely from Brian Lamb’s seven-round mock draft for Draft Countdown.
That said, it would be less surprising for Hamilton to be a Day 2 pick than it would be for him to go undrafted. Altogether, Hamilton’s projections average out to him being a fifth-round draft pick.
C Seth McLaughlin
- Round 3, No. 86, Los Angeles Chargers: Reuter
- Round 4, No. 115, Arizona Cardinals: Edwards
- Round 4, No. 118, Atlanta Falcons: 2 (Easterling, Hallam)
- Round 4, No. 136, Baltimore Ravens: Tankathon
- Round 5, No. 148, Chicago Bears: 2 (Draft Tek, Lamb)
- Round 5, No. 169, Buffalo Bills: Brugler
- Round 6, No. 181, Los Angeles Chargers: Infante
- Round 6, No. 194, Jacksonville Jaguars: Crabbs
- Round 7, No. 217, Dallas Cowboys: Iyer
- Round 7, No. 220, New England Patriots: Cummings
Average Draft Projection: 154.2 (+24.6)
Like Hamilton, McLaughlin is projected to be drafted as early as the fifth round and as late as the seventh round, ultimately averaging out to a fifth-round projection for the former Ohio State center.
The most popular projected landing spots for McLaughlin are the Los Angeles Chargers, Atlanta Falcons and Chicago Bears. A Georgia native, McLaughlin participated in the Falcons’ local pro day, and Atlanta has the most obvious need for a center of any team in the draft after losing Drew Dalman, their starting center for the last three seasons, to the Bears.
CB Jordan Hancock
- Round 3, No. 92, Seattle Seahawks: PFN
- Round 4, No. 111, Carolina Panthers: Cummings
- Round 4, No. 114, Carolina Panthers: Draft Tek
- Round 4, No. 121, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Hallam
- Round 5, No. 156, Pittsburgh Steelers: Lamb
- Round 5, No. 168, Philadelphia Eagles: Crabbs
- Round 6, No. 192, Cleveland Browns: Edwards
- Round 6, No. 211, Dallas Cowboys: Brugler
- Round 6, No. 215, Las Vegas Raiders: Iyer
- Round 7, No. 228, Detroit Lions: Reuter
- Round 7, No. 229, Pittsburgh Steelers: Infante
Average Draft Projection: 167 (+3.6)
Hancock is also projected to be drafted as early as the third round and as late as the seventh round, with his average draft projection also settling in the fifth-round range.
LB Cody Simon
- Round 4, No. 134, Philadelphia Eagles: Reuter
- Round 5, No. 160, San Francisco 49ers: Edwards
- Round 5, No. 165, Philadelphia Eagles: Iyer
- Round 6, No. 196, Detroit Lions: 2 (Draft Tek, Lamb)
- Round 6, No. 202, Los Angeles Rams: Hallam
- Round 6, No. 204, Dallas Cowboys: Brugler
- Round 6, No. 216, Cleveland Browns: Infante
- Round 7, No. 222, Las Vegas Raiders: Cummings
Average Draft Projection: 188.3 (-12.8)
Simon is the only one of Ohio State’s combine invites who isn’t projected to be selected in the first three rounds of any recent mock drafts. But he’s projected to be a Day 3 draft pick in all but one of the seven-round mocks in this roundup. More than half of those nine mocks have Simon going in Round 6.
