The loaded nature of Ohio State's 2024 roster is already being recognized by national outlets.

ESPN released its Way-Too-Early 2024 All-America team for college football on Tuesday and four Buckeyes made the list, more than any other team.

Running back TreVeyon Henderson, left guard Donovan Jackson, defensive tackle Tyleik Williams and safety Caleb Downs all were among the 23 position players who made the list.

Quinshon Judkins also landed a second-team selection at running back behind Henderson while Denzel Burke was a second-team choice at cornerback behind Colorado’s Travis Hunter and Michigan’s Will Johnson.

Henderson fell just short of eclipsing 1,000 rushing yards last season, picking up 926 yards at a clip of 5.9 yards per carry despite missing three games with injury. He had three separate games with at least 170 combined rushing and receiving yards and figures to be one of the nation's most dynamic players out of the backfield this year.

Jackson has started 26 games in a row for Ohio State since the start of his sophomore season, playing well enough to earn first-team All-Big Ten honors from the media in 2022 and both the coaches and media in 2023.

Williams emerged as one of the best defensive tackles in college football this past year with a breakout junior campaign, racking up 53 tackles with 10 tackles for loss, three sacks and five pass deflections. He also recovered a fumble for a touchdown against Western Kentucky.

Finally, that leaves Downs, the only Buckeye to make the list who isn't a senior. Downs was named the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year in 2023, putting together a monster season for Alabama with 107 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions and four pass breakups. He entered the transfer portal after the year and shocked many pundits by picking Ohio State over Georgia on Friday.

Ohio State's stars will get a chance to prove the hype behind their names when the 2024 season kicks off on Aug. 31 against Akron.
