Every week, Eleven Warriors dives into the mentions of Ohio State's coaches and players to bring you the #HotTakes and ramblings of Buckeye Nation. This week, we're reviewing the carnage from Ohio State's convincing win over Penn State.

Third-ranked Ohio State faced a stiff test on Saturday night when it traveled to Happy Valley to take on No. 18 Penn State, which was a week removed from a stunning upset loss to Indiana and looking to bounce back in the Big Ten East Division title race.

The Buckeyes (2-0) were dominant on the road, out-gaining the Nittany Lions (0-2) by more than 200 yards in a 38-25 victory that wasn't as close as the score would indicate.

Justin Fields was once again sensational, completing 28-of-34 passes for 318 yards and four touchdowns against no interceptions. Master Teague, Trey Sermon and the rushing attack were much more effective compared to last week against Nebraska, as Ohio State gained 208 yards on the ground against a stout Penn State run defense.

The Buckeyes defense looked much more formidable as well. After giving up 210 yards on the ground against Nebraska in Week 1, Ohio State surrendered just 44 rushing yards on 27 carries Saturday night. The Buckeyes' defensive front was a huge reason why Penn State struggle to move the ball on the ground.

As Ohio State's dominant win unfolded, Buckeye Nation was active on Twitter. Let's get to the mentions.

@ Ryan Day

Hours before Ohio State took the field, Michigan hilariously fell to Michigan State at home, and now Jim Harbaugh's squad is neck-and-neck with // checks notes // Rutgers for the Big Ten East Division crown. People took notice.

But Buckeye Nation redirected its attention to the Penn State game.

That's how every great Ohio State tradition is born — via a Twitter mention to a head coach during a live football game.

Ohio State fans do not believe in backup kickers anymore.

Running for more than 100 yards against an elite run defense. Buddy he's not hard to spot.

Lol Urban Meyer was a notorious asshole and Jim Tressel had the personality of a forgotten pair of shoes in your grandparent's attic. Day is amazing, and I hope he continues to be amazing.

The late first half incident that gifted Penn State three points angered Ohio State fans, some of which were triggered so intensely that they tweeted Disney gifs.

The rage is real.

Buckeye fans wanted blood in the second half, and Day complied with some gutsy calls.

Yes, both coaches famously called for a big pass play on fourth-and-short in tight situations. Cheers, y'all.

@ Justin Fields

Jacksonville fans are obsessed with Fields. It's alarming.

So are Atlanta fans.

And Colts fans.

And Panthers fans.

And Vikings fans.

And... Steelers fans? Even though Pittsburgh is undefeated and will likely be picking at the back-end of the first round in this year's NFL draft?

Refocusing on Fields' play, Buckeyes fans were... pleased.

It's a fair question as he has as many total touchdowns (seven) as incompletions through two games this season.

The amount of Georgia sadness in Fields' mentions on a week-to-week basis is enough to almost feel bad for a program that let this generational talent walk away. You absolutely love to see it.

Just so long as it's plant-based.

Math has never made more sense.

My Ohio State fandom hit overdrive during Troy Smith's 2006 Heisman Trophy campaign, and because of that, he's held a nearly unbreakable hold over my heart for nearly 1.5 decades. Fields is slowly breaking that hold.

His order at Arby's would be the most depressing thing in the world. Outside of that, I have nothing.

Anyway, let's just review Fields' carnage against Penn State.

It's a thing of beauty.

@ Chris Olave

It didn't take long for Olave's mentions' to get crowded.

Weirdly personal, but okay.

Even converting non-Buckeyes.

Maybe just focus on your team, okay?

Seems good, IMO.

Accurate.

@ Tommy Togiai

The stout Ohio State defensive tackle came into the game with no career sacks, but he left the matchup with three. It was an impressive performance from the Buckeyes' defensive tackle, and it fueled Ohio State's domination up front.

Ohio State's defensive front was a concern after the Nebraska game, but Larry Johnson's unit stepped up against Penn State.

Until next week, go Bucks!
