Ohio State's spring game will have a bit of a twist this year: National champion Lou Holtz and Nike founder Phil Knight will guest coach.

Holtz will coach the Buckeyes for the first time since 1968, when he helped lead Ohio State to a national title as an assistant under Woody Hayes. Holtz hired Urban Meyer as a wide receivers coach at Notre Dame in 1996.

Knight will be around the team since delivering a victory speech to Urban Meyer's team in the bowels of Ohio Stadium after the double-overtime win over Michigan.

“I am very close to each of these individuals and I have enjoyed their friendship over many years,” Meyer said in a statement released by the university, “but even more I respect the impact they have had on Ohio State and college football. I am looking forward to having Coach Holtz and Phil Knight on our campus as guest coaches, and I am very appreciative they want to take part in and support our spring game.”

The spring game kicks off at 12:30 p.m. on April 15th.
