The Big Ten's rise is just beginning.

While the SEC hilariously tumbled this weekend, a couple Big Ten schools made moves in the polls. Northwestern followed their upset over Stanford by blanking Eastern Illinois and jumped up to No. 24 in the coaches poll, No. 23 in the AP Poll. Meanwhile, Michigan State's win over Oregon meant they leapt over the Ducks, received a two first-place votes in the AP Poll and moved ahead of Baylor in both polls. We'll see if Art Briles has anything to say about a Big Ten team leapfrogging them again.

Naturally, Arkansas, Tennessee and Mississippi State fell out of the Top 25 and Auburn dropped in both polls. There are still six SEC teams who appear but that won't be the talk of the week.
