Depth Chart: Jalin Marshall, Dontre Wilson, Corey Smith and Joey Bosa Return for Ohio State; J.T. Barrett, Cardale Jones Still Listed As Co-Starters

The four players — suspended one game for violating an Ohio State University Athletic Department policy — returned to the second edition of their team's depth chart Wednesday, for the home opener against Hawai'i. It was a long offseason for the Buckeyes as a whole, but mistakes made it even longer for the quartet of contributors who played big roles in Ohio State winning the first-ever College Football Playoff in January.

Notes:

• Though Urban Meyer decided to give the ball to Cardale Jones first at Lane Stadium Monday night in Ohio State's 42-24 victory against Virginia Tech, the redshirt junior is still listed as a co-starter with redshirt sophomore J.T. Barrett at quarterback.
• The additions of Bosa, Smith, Marshall and Wilson pushed out some names in the two-deep that were present last week, but that was expected. However, none of the suspended players are listed as starters. Even Bosa is listed as a co-starter with Sam Hubbard at defensive end.
• With Marshall back in the lineup, he takes over at punt returner. Ezekiel Elliott handled the punt returning duties against the Hokies — fumbling once in the process — despite not even being listed on the depth chart at the position last week.
• Braxton Miller is now listed as the starter full-time at H-B. Miller was listed as a co-starter with Curtis Samuel last week.
• A third receiver position was added, which means Ohio State is listing 12 offensive starters. That'd be a penalty, unless the rules are changed between now and 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
