Sophomore H-Back Jalin Marshall will no longer be wearing the No. 17 jersey he made familiar last season. He has elected to wear No. 7 — the number he wore at Middletown High School — for the remainder of the 2015 season, according to Eleven Warriors' sources.

We'll get our first glimpse of the new digit for Marshall this Saturday in Bloomington as the Buckeyes take on Indiana in the conference opener.

As you might recall, Marshall bounced back from a two fumble performance in the tundra of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium with with a performance for the ages against the Hoosiers last season.

Marshall was attacked on social media for his two fumbles against the Gophers by fans upset at a much-closer game than expected against Minnesota. No problem. Marshall worked on fielding punts in the snow in the week before the Indiana game and then turned things up a notch by recording four second half touchdown against the Hoosiers.
