Ohio State legendary wide receiver Joey Galloway — who recently received a promotion — is on campus Monday with the ESPN College GameDay crew, reporting from the team's first day of training camp.

Braxton Miller isn't due on the practice field until around 3 p.m., but he's already at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center working diligently at becoming a wide receiver.

Galloway, a 16-year NFL veteran and former Buckeye star, is providing him some tips:

We haven't seen Miller run routes and catch passes within the realm of Ohio State's offense, but it appears he's taking the proper steps to make an impact this fall. Especially from someone with the track record of Galloway.

On SportsCenter Monday morning, Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer was told Miller was working with Galloway at the wide receiver position.

"That's good," Meyer said.
