Urban Meyer is a former baseball player, and while he might not be heading to the major leagues, he's getting another chance on a ball diamond.
Major League Baseball announced today that Urban Meyer and Kirk Herbstreit — along with a slew of lesser-known celebrities — will appear in the All Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.
According to MLB, "the All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game is the second game of an exciting doubleheader at Great American Ball Park on All-Star Sunday."
The MLB All-Star Game will be in Cincinnati on July 12th.
