Make no mistake: A lot of college football programs do not prepare their athletes for a life after football, but Ohio State is not one of those programs.

The football Buckeyes took a break from the practice field today — they return to it tomorrow — to take part in Urban Meyer's "Real Life Wednesdays."

A few weeks ago, the CEO of Chase Bank, Jamie Dimon, spoke to the football team at length. Today, it was restaurant tycoon Cameron Mitchell.

As far as speakers go, Ohio State could do a lot worse: In 2008, Mitchell sold his fish and steak restaurants to Ruth's Chris for a cool $94 million. Today, Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, a Columbus-based corporation, oversees successful restaurants in 12 different states.

In other news, I have $5 of capital investment into whatever business venture Tracy Sprinkle (scarlet shirt) appears to be plotting. (Love that dude.)
