Before descending upon Columbus, the members of Ohio State's Supreme '18 recruiting class have one final shot at glory under the Friday night lights.

PICK-SIX UNIVERSITY

St. John Bosco was in an unexpectedly low-scoring game with Chaminade on Friday night when Ohio State four-star safety commit Jaiden Woodbey saw a high throw fall into his hands. With plenthy of space, he followed his blocks 83 yards for a touchdown to give the Braves a 7-0 lead right before halftime.

He then threw up an O-H-I-O.

Bosco found its groove in the second half behind Iowa State quarterback commit Re-al Mitchell and running backs Emetrious Flowers and George Holani. The trio combined to rush for 244 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Mitchell also added a touchdown pass to seal the 31-17 win.

CARRIED OVER FROM THE WEEK BEFORE

Ohio State three-star running back commit Master Teague III is among the nation's leading rushers, as he's racked up 561 yards and eight touchdowns through only three games this year.

He tweaked his ankle in a downpour last weekend, and the lingering effects sidelined him for most of Murfreesboro Blackman's 42-10 win over Smyrna on Friday night.

Teague's father told me that evening the injury isn't too serious and with the Blaze already winning 21-10 after the first quarter, he was held out for precautionary reasons. No reason to risk it. His backup, Cordell Braxton, filled in nicely. He finished with 121 yards rushing and one touchdown on 20 carries.

Blackman's defense also stepped up on Friday, allowing only 75 yards after the game-opening touchdown drive.

MAY BE BETTER ON OFFENSE

In what may have been the game of the week. Ohio State three-star cornerback commit Marcus Hooker rushed for 262 yards and four touchdowns to lead New Castle past Highlands, 48-47, in double overtime.

Hooker put the Red Hurricanes on top for the first time with a 3-yard touchdown run late in the third quarter, and his fourth score of the night extended that lead to 34-26 with just over five minutes remaining. The Golden Rams subsequently tied the game with less than a minute remaining.

Hooker, however, did not play in the overtime periods after limping off the field on his final touchdown. He was walking fine after the game, which ended when Highlands failed on its game-winning two-point conversion attempt.
