In what will certainly be a back-and-forth battle until National Signing Day, Ohio State has once again surpassed Miami for the top spot in the 247Sports Composite team recruiting rankings.

With New York four-star tight end Jeremy Ruckert's commitment earlier this afternoon, the Buckeyes now hold a total score of 280.17. The Hurricanes, meanwhile, sit at 271.83.

As we've discussed at length, quality over quantity has been the theme thus far. Ohio State has only 15 commitment compared to Miami's 19. Defensive tackle Taron Vincent and defensive end Brenton Cox are both considered five-star pickups for the Buckeyes, while running back Lorenzo Lingard remains the only future Hurricane to hold that honor.
