The Hurry Up is your nightcap of Ohio State recruiting news, catching you up on the day’s events with an ear on the ground for what’s next.

CORLEY VISITING NOT GOING TO HAPPEN NOV. 21?

The will-he-or-won't-he saga involving Detroit Martin Luther King standout 2016 wide receiver Donnie Corley appears to be trending towards "he won't," at least if we're talking about a November 21st visit to Ohio State.

"What's holding us up," Donny Corley, Sr. told Eleven Warriors. "Is all of our state playoff games are on Saturday until the semifinals. As long as if we win, we're gonna have to miss (the Ohio State and Michigan State game). We'd really would like (to be there)."

Ohio State was, at one point, the supposed leader for the country's 118th-ranked player, but – with a decision expected in the next month – if no visit happens soon it's probably time to call this one a wash.

Michigan State, Tennessee and Michigan are all still in the mix.

SHAUN WADE VISITING BAMA THIS WEEKEND...

On Jan. 12, as the Buckeyes were preparing to decimate Oregon and win their eighth national championship, the coaching staff received word of three new commitments, one 2016 five-star, one 2017 five-star and 2017 four-star

As we sit less than a year later, only one of those players – 2017 five-star Shaun Wade – remains committed to Ohio State. This weekend, Wade will take a big visit as he heads to Tuscaloosa to scope out Alabama and LSU.

He talked to TodaysU.com Eric Rutter about the visit and his recruitment.

From TodaysU.com:

“I’m going to the Alabama – LSU game this weekend,” Wade said. “I’m going there. I’m [looking for] the style of defense the play. Do they play a lot of press man? Also, the stuff they do on the field and on defense.”

Wade also shared his thoughts about Ohio State and why he committed, and remains pledged, to the Buckeyes.

“Coach Urban Meyer, I like him,” Wade said. “Then me and the recruiting coach and coach [Kerry] Coombs, I like talking to all the coaches.”

The country's 3rd-ranked cornerback and 13th-overall 2017 prospect has visited UCF, Florida, Kentucky, and Georgia since his commitment.

...SO IS EVERY OTHER RECRUIT IN AMERICA

Yes, we cover Ohio State recruiting in The Hurry Up, but sometimes there's a need to mention the incredible things that are happening elsewhere. This weekend the incredible thing is happening in Alabama.

Thirteen five-stars. Thirteen.

There are however, a number of other players as well. Look at this list, which is not necessarily guaranteed to be accurate or complete or finished, but if even half of these names make it, we're talking about one of the single biggest recruiting weekends ever.

Bama is hosting five official visitors, one of which may have some special interest to Buckeyes' fans considering the events of this week.

Ohio State will be focusing on the Gophers this weekend, but many of the nation's top targets will be focusing on the SEC.

COCONUT CREEK TRIO HAS BIG DAY

There are, give or take, 90 players selected to the US Army All-American game every year. This year, three of those players are heading to San Antonio from the same high school, Coconut Creek in Florida.

Today, wide receiver Binjimen Victor and defensive backs Malek Young and Trayvon Mullen all received their official invitations and jerseys at a ceremony at Creek.

Each member of the trio has an Ohio State offer, and Victor and Young made official visits to Columbus on Oct. 17. Young, who is committed to Georgia, is also still considering Auburn, where he'll visit on Nov. 28.
