Braylen Nash might battle to give Ohio State basketball's starters a good look daily, but he and his family recently partook in a different kind of feud.

The Ohio State basketball walk-on and his kin taped an episode of the game show Family Feud, hosted by Steve Harvey, which will air on May 13, per The Columbus Dispatch.

Nash and his family have been sworn to secrecy about the outcome of their episode, but that didn't stop teammates and coaches from poking and pestering.

“A lot of my teammates were talking to me about it, especially the coaches,” Nash said. “(Coach Jake) Diebler, our trainer Tony (Laurenzi), they’d ask me questions about what actually happened and I just couldn’t tell them. They were pressing me about it all the time. It was difficult to keep my mouth shut, for sure, especially when they were persistent with it.”

Nash's sister, Micaylah Preston, applied for the television show, a process which included writing biographies about each of her family members and describing their family dynamic. Then, roughly a year later, the family got an invitation for a Zoom teleconference audition. A few months later, they were invited on the show.

Preston and her husband, Jason, plus she and Nash's parents David and Marsha Nash were flown out to Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta for the taping of the show. Jason Preston played for Ohio in college and is now with the NBA's Utah Jazz.

Nash appeared in nine games and scored five points for the Buckeyes in 2024-25.
