Ohio State cut the Villanova lead to two late in the contest, but ultimately failed to complete the comeback.
The Buckeyes saw their season come to an end Sunday with a 71-61 loss to Villanova in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, in what will likely be the last game in an Ohio State uniform for many players, including E.J. Liddell.
