No one has ever scored more points in a Big Ten Tournament final than Duane Washington Jr. did on Sunday against Illinois.

Washington scored 32 points in Ohio State's 91-88 overtime loss to Illinois, breaking the Big Ten Tournament championship game record previously set by Buckeye great Evan Turner, who had 31 points in Ohio State's 2010 Big Ten Tournament win over Minnesota.

Those 32 points were also a new career-high for Washington, who had a previous career-high of 30 points in Ohio State's regular-season loss to Michigan. 30 of Washington's 32 points on Sunday came in regulation.

Over the course of Ohio State's four Big Ten Tournament games, Washington scored 92 total points, also setting a Big Ten Tournament record. The previous record of 91 points was set by Iowa's Luke Recker in 2002.

Washington was one of two Buckeyes named to the All-Big Ten Tournament team, along with E.J. Liddell.
